St, Martin of Tours, Louisville, KY, is my parish! On a separate altar, on the gospel side of the tabernacle, is the body of St. Magnus; on the epistle side, also in a separate altar, is St. Bonosa. Magnus was a centurion who was so impressed by the martyrdom of Bonosa, that he converted and was martyred. According to the University of Louisville archaeologist who studied their bones, St. Magnus was 45 to 50 years old, and St. Bonosa was in her 20's.

Fabulous history. Should be mandatory watching every Catholic.

I have a question that no one can explain. In the new mass, the congregation now also receives the wine. But I noticed that the priest adds water to his chalice but does not do the same to the cups of wine that will be shared with the community. I question whether, therefore the wine that is shared has been truly transformed to the blood of Christ. I really appreciate an answer.

The rubric in the NO is that the congregation does NOT receive the Blood. The Cardinal who had Sarah's job after the Council gave out papal indults like they were business cards, so what you are seeing is "special" permission.
Water only needs to be added to one chalice like only one "loaf" needs to be fractioned.
With these questions, you might be interested to read De Defectibus. Some weird questions came up and got answered in the 1500 years before Pius V.

I pray for Ratzinger. I think he was railroaded.
