This is legitimately the best way to market the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog sets. Also, I hate to sound like that kind of guy, but LEGO and Sega do what LEGO and Ninten-don't: they did actual minifigures for the characters
Even better is comedic marketing compared to the dull marketing with lego mario being played by kids, lego sonic is going far in imagination.

Because Nintendo prefers to innovate then be old fashioned, it's their thing, that's why Sega does what Ninten-don't, such as going third party and argue with the Japanese HQ, and why do we all forget Lego isn't just about Minifigures

It’s stuff like this that makes me love everything SEGA does with Sonic (unless it’s Sonic Boom). They know how to make their villain a true “ham”.
Mike brings so much personality to Eggman than Nintendo does with Bowser (even more so with Tim as Robotnik over Jack’s Bowser)
Sonic characters as of late have been a hoot, sure. But let's remember; Nintendo characters strive for simplicity to make it easier for players to connect with them.

Hi Lego. Back in 2015 I played a special game, called Lego Dimensions. It was the most creative game I have ever played. I used to love buying packs and being able to put the characters and vehicles on the toy pad and seeing them in game. I really you guys can bring that joy back and release a sequel or new packs. 👍
