hey!! first of all it's amazing that you want to start making these videos!! i can assure you it's quite fun. for editing i use capcut (the free version). it's really simple and easy to understand. for the clips i usually watch the series in some platforms with english subtitles (i don't have crunchyroll) and i screen record them. i also download some audios and videos from youtube! for starting i would recommend you to pick a show of your interest and idk, maybe recap the funniest moments or something, for my first videos i got inspo from other channels, eventually the ideas just pop into my head. hope this works, any other question you have just let me know!! good luck :)))
