It´s late afternoon and the clock just struck five o´clock. Room is full of golden light and is warm from sun. Outside is a calm day. You can hear people enjoying fresh air, chirping birds and quiet wind chimes on the porch. You can sit on a comfy couch next to the window to enjoy the view. Sun is shining through nearby trees and in the sun rays you see small dust particles, floating in the air. Other guest are quietly chatting. Water is boiling until you hear familiar whistle of a teapot and water drops sizzling on the hot stove. Wooden floor is nicely squeaking under the footsteps and clocks are ticking. Aww, you are so welcome!! Sorry, just now seeing this! I'm back home now, but I am still listening!! This truly saved me while housesitting in a modern home with a *very* different feel than mine. After 2 1/2 months there, I was almost feeling as though I was on another planet, really struggling, and it was amazing how this restored my well-being.
Now that I'm back home, listening to this almost makes me feel euphoric. I love the ticking clock and the laughter in the background. I'm not sure what it is, but I think it brings me back to when I was a kid maybe--hanging out in another room at the grandparent's house maybe while hearing one of the antique clocks ticking and all the adults laughing in the background. Whatever it is, I just love it. ☺️
