I've literally just fixed my Citroen Berlingo 1.6HDi using the same approach but with Mannol DPF cleaner. I could not get the O2 sensor off with just the spanner so I ordered a 90mm 22mm long reach socket that has a gap cut into one side so that you can fit the O2 sensor wiring through in order to loosen the nut. I used a breaker bar on the socket as it was very tight. I did not even use the whole 500ml can. I let the car idle for a while then took it for an 18 mile drive up and down the motorway. The DPF warning light as well as the EML came on one more time to put the car in limp mode but I pulled over into the hard shoulder and cleared the fault code to take back out of limp mode and went back to the motorway driving. You can easily clear the error code causing limp mode with just a cheap code reader off Ebay. The port to connect your code reader can be found inside the glovebox or around the steering column if you are in Europe. I hope this is useful info as it really can be done and it's not complicated.
When you need to remove the O2 sensor there is an approach that someone showed me that is not at all obvious. Deffo get the deep socket with the gap in the side to allow the O2 sensor to protrude and use a breaker bar. The wiring part of the O2 sensor is a two stage removal. One side you need to easily unclip a connector ( side furthest away from the DPF ) and then you slide the other part of the O2 sensor towards you for removal. I was ages trying to figure out how this part perhaps unclipped in some way but slides on and off towards/away from you on a plastic housing. Wish I'd known that ages ago as would have made life easy.
You have used FAP cleaning product near the top of the catalytic converter. This foam could not get into the FAP filter because the FAP is located in the lower part of the exhaust. In short, you put foam in the wrong hole where you should have :)
wrong direction , you have to back flush the dpf . a dpfs very nature is that of a filter , you cant push carbon on through it , you have to push it out the way it went in , thats fact .
With this nothing will happened. You need to disassemble it and cleaned it for 2 hours with HCl after that wash it with dishwasher detergent and it will be like new.
Nothing mentioned about a warrenty vehicle here and so this is an ameteur at work as a proffesional one would have pointed it out that if you do this to a new car then you have just breached that warrenty. If you drive a diesel you will never have it block that anyway if you are driving it as to how a diesel should be driven.
Use the same method with the spray but also add a diesel additive into the fuel tank that supports DPF regeneration... this will help the soot to burn off at a much lower temperature when driving... you simply add the bottle to the fuel tank right before you top up at a fuel station... its that simple. you don't need to waste money getting someone out to flush the DPF through costing you hundreds of pounds... the DPF was designed to clear itself when engine temperature reaches a certain amount. its just over time the soot becomes a little overwhelming and needs additives to help loosen it up which will burn off easily when you are driving 👉(it is that easy)👈
Hi does this really works? I have the same problem on peugeot 3008 1.6hdi 2011... I will try it tomorrow, how long does it need to leave after you spray dpf cleaner?
@@MrMaster2262 thank you for the tip brother, I don't know how to explain this but my car feels kind of choked when I'm driving like it doesn't have full power, also a bit of rough idling when starting up the car, gas smell from the exhaust and the exhaust also has soot in it. Could it be a bad Purge valve? I know the cleaning would help but if I don't sell the problem of what caused the suit and the congestion in the catalytic converter it will repeat itself
@@lucidfairytales The loss of power could be something simple like a dirty EGR valve (clean or replace) also check around the hoses for any signs of being dirty from oil or carbon deposits... cracks or tares in hoses could be causing a vacuum leak which will also result in loss of power. If you have a OBD2 reader do a Live Data check when vehicle is idling and test that your accelerator pedal matches the revs (rpm ×1000) on the Live Data check... some models the throttle position sensor on the accelerator pedal needs replacing which can also cause loss of power if the sensor isn't telling the car how much throttle to give. It could also be the butterfly on the manifold which has become dirty overtime and not opening or closing properly. it is easy to clean with brake cleaner, an old tooth brush and a rag to wipe it with... I would start with the EGR first and see if that resolves your issues. 😉👍 I hope this helped... Good luck
I have the same car. I use vcds (ross tech) cable. I use it for my audis and now my vw golf. I'm currently trying to find the best way to unclog my dpf... this clip is terrible not telling you anything. This might help but you need to continue with the regen process with the V.A.G. program, after spraying this stuff then for a manual regen start driving about 40-50 min with no stopping or slowing down and keeping the rpms around 2k-2.5k, clear faults and if it pops up again restart process 3 more times. Good luck!

this car doesn't have fap. it has dpf system wich is located right where he sprays the foam

Catalytic converter, not dpf
I heard that built in arm torque wrench click 😉
So not over tide O2 sensor iy will slip I did on my Cactus and now i used hight temp rope in order to Screw it back in place

if it was as easy as that, manufactures wouldn't have installed dpf anyway.... LOL
Just breaks down Oil deposits though doesn't get the built up soot out .. love the dove though..

Hi , did it work?
Just 15min then let it warm up and go for a 40min drive or start the regen process from your scan tool program like VCDS
how much of that stuff did you spray in there
e una sonda lambda giusto?
Don't work ....move on people
For me more easy its DPF to take out then Oil filter Citroen Cactus 1.6 eHdi same engine ....just have DPF out and clean it 😮

Would this wok on ampetrol engine? Spray themfoam where the pre catalytic converter o2 sensor hole is?
Petrol engines doesn't have a DPF
(DPF - Diesel Particulate Filter)

@@MrMaster2262 yeah but it works on the same principle as a catalytic converter. The cleaning agent is the same and they both have a ceramic mesh

That a Peugeot engine
how about the codes removal that causes limping
Any obd adapter will clear fault codes
something is missing. why unplug then replug connectors?
Its crap and dont work. And pricey
will this unblock a complete dpf blockag
if its completely blocked take it out and use a drill and a long drill bit and drill a hole down the center of it.
you should have cleaned the 5th injector
Doesn't have one
