The fact Bucky is holding back throughout the whole show just shows how badly he doesn’t want to be the winter soldier anymore

@@Lisa-om2yq well it would be kinda weird to give Sam the title of cap and then just leave Bucky as Bucky Barnes. It's a flip on the first movie. In that one they were on opposite sides and on this show they ended up fighting together
@Mazikeen they're not going to rename him that without us seeing the backstory. That name was used one time in the second episode. It needs way more setup than that.

Marvel really needs to step it up with Bucky. He deserves to be shown more,even maybe get his own movie one day.

Those transitions are smooooooth. I have to keep rewinding to see where it switches from one movie to the next, they are so seamless I don't realise it's happened
I know right, this feeling is sooo satisfying I love edit with seamless transitions like that, all I can think about is the hours of dedications. You gotta find the perfects scenes then the perfect frames. It trully is remarkable work.

How easily John says, "all that serum running through your veins", that asshole doesn't even have the slightest idea what the poor soul has suffered to deserve the ending which he got in the show.
...also, I'm pretty sure Bucky never asked to have that serum put into him and it was done without his knowledge or consent whilst HYDRA was "experimenting" on him.

I love Bucky so much. He is such a sad and complex character that sometimes I have to stop watching something because I feel like crying. And as much as I do not cry, I feel so deep connection with him that watching his suffering hurt my insides

Bucky wouldn’t like the sound of that. He isn‘t an assassin, the Winter Soldier is. Bucky‘s just a kid from Brooklyn with a good heart who happened to be a victim of an organisation that turned him into a monster.

A soldier’s work is never done, even when others say that the war is over. It is the war from within every soldier that they fight-the demons they face time and time again. Take Bucky for example. He’s lived for a long time, served in World War 2, became a sleeper agent against his will, killed many innocent people for Hydra. How can a man like himself recover from that much trauma? How much can one man take until they finally cave?
We all have our own struggles we face all the time. But we also have a choice: to let the bad things fester in your mind, or make peace with it and move forward from the past.
Whatever we choose, we continue to fight and move on...

You have a masterful continuity of the direction, energy, acceleration and flow of action from clip to clip, and a stunning sense of when to hold with a scene versus when to cut to another in sync with just the right components of the song. The scenes, clips and VOs are also just expertly chosen to match and build themes in unity with the song, as well and tell a story.
Your skill here is just awe-inspiring to me. I really loved this video - Bucky is my fave, and you brought to life a great lense on the progression of his story. That was my first time hearing this song, I'll have to hunt it down!
