Ro-joon has a psychologcal problem that is true, however, he also thinks ppl who are suffering long-term pain shld die quickly to end it all. Like his father was in pain everyday, like the little girl whose father Ro-joon asked to stop her life-support in the hospital. That is euthanasia. He isn't entirely a monster.
