The pressure in our system is between 2-3 mbar. The gas cannot escape via the screw conveyor during feeding, because the tank entry lies beneath the liquid level, which means that we have a sealing by the liquid in the digester with a water column of 1 m. Only when the gas pressure is higher than 1 m water column, the gas could possibly escape.
