- Hey everyone, here are my 2021 college decision reactions! Applying to college as a 16-year-old has been one heck of a ride. I applied to 13 colleges, none of which I visited before. I'm SO glad this is all over so that I can share my reactions with you guys!

@@KimAhrina11 what 15 year old gets into uni? specially such big ones? unless certain class years are omitted in your school, or youre utterly brilliant, or your parents are rushing to get a straight A's child the day after they learn to walk and talk i dont think its "common". in my country the age is 18, and no options of skipping years no matter how good you are, but it also does exams that foreign kids arent able to solve well(like NEET, or even cbse 12th board which uni students couldnt do). maybe thats why i havent come across any such ppl yet. who cares anyway, the video is about helen and so is the comment, not about other kids. and she mentions at the literal start that she skipped junior year. are you commenting without even watching the vid?

There’s two types of people in this world. First are people who fold under this pressure, second are people who feed off this pressure. Hopefully she’s second
exactly... i'm really happy for her, believe me, but i'd probably go into depression if my parents forced those kinds of expectations on me. luckily, her parents seem like very warm people, and would be happy with just one Ivy League daughter.
Going to a "prestigious" school isn't everything. I went to a run of the mill university and do well for myself in healthcare. Sister shouldn't feel too pressured to go to some school for the brand.
Im not saying this is what she should do of course, but if I was the sister I would be really messed up about the whole thing.

It's surreal that lower-ranked schools rejected her while Harvard and Columbia accepted her.
@@turuus5215 a lot of schools do that if they believe the student is too good for their school and will go to a better school and so the accept people who they believe will actually join.

need at least a 1600, a 4.0 unweighted, a 4.7+ weighted at a minimum. Varsity sports 4 years, some sort of crazy thing you’ve done to change the world. Character references from important people.

Congratulations! I went the community college route for my bachelors degree and I'm graduating this year from a state university. It feels like just another day, but nothing felt like the day I got the decision that I got into the top school in the nation for my masters. Good luck on whichever you chose!
