Nikki was a toxic parent and that phone call he recorded was her alienating him from his kids bc of her insecurities and abandonment issues. Thats the true reason why he got 50/50 custody. Judges don't play those games anymore and he documentated everything. The drama she caused the kids, i can only imagine. I'm no longer a fan of Nikki. I hope time heals all and parents these days need to realize it took two people to get the kids here and it will take two parents to raise them. Thank you for telling us your story. At first I too thought he was a jerk, she started to seem like she was pushy, bossy and rude at times especially after the second baby but I ignored it. Not saying he’s innocent because she has her side of this drama too and we’re ALL on the outside looking in.

As a woman, I walked away from an abusive relationship. I paid child support, I help to pay the mortgage on a house I was not living in... I did this because of my sons who were still in the house. It hurt for years emotionally being away from my sons. Thankfully, my younger son now lives with me. I had to fight in the courts away and pay out a lot of money. Well, God restores. I am remarried, happily and God is blessing me in many ways. I lost it all, but God Restores. After 14 years of divorce, God has restored and given me back the years that were stolen.

I’ve always thought Nikki’s silence about the reason for the split was suspicious. As much as I loved them as a couple, Nikki is the type that wanted to be treated like a princess 24/7. Honestly, if you read the content of the message between Jamie and Nikki whilst he begs her to work, it just seems like two different people with different views on what makes life great. I can totally see why she didn't want to work. The rent was fully paid. She was in school to secure their future and already working doing TH-cam as a part-time job. It doesn't appear that Jamie really needed to work 14 hour days. Perhaps he needed a regular 8 hour job instead. At the end of the day, she was not wrong to feel he was money hungry and over doing it with work. And he was not wrong for wanting more money to build a future for them. Everyone who wants to marry should realize something important: No matter your attraction for each other, at the end of the day you must have the same values and goals--or else it won't work! I refuse to think of her as a bad person. As a married woman, I can easily identify with her struggle and perspective. This is why it's also important for married couples to hang out with other married couples...you. begin to notice patterns and realize, "hey, my husband does this too, my wife does this too"--just like yours....and it creates more patience within us towards our spouse....
Papa Perkins is paying the most for this divorce. Too much. Two mortgages at 75, no longer living with his wife at this stage in life, driving so much every week and probably being so tired all the time. I'm a woman and I've been where you've been. I had to pay alimony and child support and had my child 50% of the time. You're still young enough Jamie so once the girls get older you'll be able to seek out your dreams. They are still young now. You'll see.

I will say that Nikki sounds like she has undiagnosed bipolar or other mental health disorder. She had been through a lot very early in her childhood so I truly hope she gets the help she needs before it’s too late. Kids deserve to be protected at ALL costs and not to be causalities in a parent’s pettiness. Focus on healing Jamie, it’s hard but you need to show up for yourself so you can in turn show up for your girls. They need a health and healed version of you. If your heart is pure karma will deal with her. Praying for all involved especially the girls.

I want to admit everything u we’re saying Jamie I believed. My kids are adults now but when me & their father broke up I tried to make his life miserable bc I was angry he broke up with me. I took him for child support, wrote post, tried to turn everyone against him bc my ego was broken. It took my mom may her soul rest to tell me that if I’m doing things out of spite nothing good will come out…there is a thing called karma. My kids were the ones hurting, I changed this man life. my kids father was basically homeless & couldn’t renew his driving license & jailed bc he was behind child support! I dropped the child support & we worked something out on paper. I pray things will change for u. 😮

All stories have two sides. Everyone, even someone kind, can be provoked to the point of acting impulsive/violent. It looks like she wanted to invest in her career and Jamie wanted her to record makeup, or other type of content that the female audience was asking, it could bring money to the family and Jamie would be less stressed and work less. Separation with a family involved is hard. I'm very sorry it had to come to this. The family was a very interesting one with lots to see and learn from. It broke our hearts when it came to an end. Mental health is real and the children can feel when things are not going right. Your parents was an integral part of the family and show the family as a whole. The is now broken and it's harder to put it back together as they get older. They missed what they had with the whole family but they will understand that the love they have from both of parents are still good i pray that you will feel better soon.

Nikki was a toxic parent and that phone call he recorded was her alienating him from his kids bc of her insecurities and abandonment issues. Thats the true reason why he got 50/50 custody. Judges don't play those games anymore and he documentated everything. The drama she caused the kids, i can only imagine. I'm no longer a fan of Nikki. As a woman, I walked away from an abusive relationship. I paid child support, I help to pay the mortgage on a house I was not living in... I did this because of my sons who were still in the house. It hurt for years emotionally being away from my sons. Thankfully, my younger son now lives with me. I had to fight in the courts away and pay out a lot of money. Well, God restores. I am remarried, happily and God is blessing me in many ways. I lost it all, but God Restores. After 14 years of divorce, God has restored and given me back the years that were stolen.

Honestly, if you read the content of the message between Jamie and Nikki whilst he begs her to work, it just seems like two different people with different views on what makes life great. I can totally see why she didn't want to work. The rent was fully paid. She was in school to secure their future and already working doing TH-cam as a part-time job. It doesn't appear that Jamie really needed to work 14 hour days. Perhaps he needed a regular 8 hour job instead. At the end of the day, she was not wrong to feel he was money hungry and over doing it with work. And he was not wrong for wanting more money to build a future for them. Everyone who wants to marry should realize something important: No matter your attraction for each other, at the end of the day you must have the same values and goals--or else it won't work! I refuse to think of her as a bad person. As a married woman, I can easily identify with her struggle and perspective. This is why it's also important for married couples to hang out with other married couples...you. begin to notice patterns and realize, "hey, my husband does this too, my wife does this too"--just like yours....and it creates more patience within us towards our spouse....

I'm a woman and I've been where you've been. I had to pay alimony and child support and had my child 50% of the time. You're still young enough Jamie so once the girls get older you'll be able to seek out your dreams. They are still young now. You'll see.

This is really sad and I know women can be particularly evil when there’s a divorce in play. My brother is currently going through it. I will say that Nikki sounds like she has undiagnosed bipolar or other mental health disorder. She had been through a lot very early in her childhood so I truly hope she gets the help she needs before it’s too late. Kids deserve to be protected at ALL costs and not to be causalities in a parent’s pettiness. Focus on healing Jamie, it’s hard but you need to show up for yourself so you can in turn show up for your girls. They need a health and healed version of you. If your heart is pure karma will deal with her. Praying for all involved especially the girls.

I took him for child support, wrote post, tried to turn everyone against him bc my ego was broken. It took my mom may her soul rest to tell me that if I’m doing things out of spite nothing good will come out…there is a thing called karma. My kids were the ones hurting, I changed this man life. my kids father was basically homeless & couldn’t renew his driving license & jailed bc he was behind child support! I dropped the child support & we worked something out on paper. I pray things will change for u. 😮

All stories have two sides. Everyone, even someone kind, can be provoked to the point of acting impulsive/violent. It looks like she wanted to invest in her career and Jamie wanted her to record makeup, or other type of content that the female audience was asking, it could bring money to the family and Jamie would be less stressed and work less. It's so odd how some people can be so bitter that they make their kids suffer because they want to get back at a man so bad not realising that if one parent is suffering then the kids will too. The Disney thing shocked me...
Literallyyy like WTF 🤮 my parents our divorced and even though my mother struggled in that relationship she never wants us to think badly about our father, encouraging us to have the best relationship possible. I guess I never thought about how that is such a blessing. Most people are bitter and don’t want the other to succeed !!
What was the outcome for Disney? They did end up going with her.... I was so shocked at how bitter she was. She made it about her when she should have been thinking about the kids.

THAT LAST CLIP! Tells you everything. The fact that 1, her voice sounds COMPLETELY different than what we normally hear, that soft spoken, airy voice, gone. And 2, the fact that her sister just stood there while Jaime recorded and mentioned her cheating and abuse and said NOTHING. I don’t have sisters but I know if a man was lying about me on camera, they would’ve interjected. She, said, nothing. Because she knew it was true. That’s all I needed to see.

Separation with a family involved is hard. I'm very sorry it had to come to this. The family was a very interesting one with lots to see and learn from. It broke our hearts when it came to an end. Mental health is real and the children can feel when things are not going right. Your parents was an integral part of the family and show the family as a whole. The is now broken and it's harder to put it back together as they get older. They missed what they had with the whole family but they will understand that the love they have from both of parents are still good i pray that you will feel better soon.
This is so sad- men often get accused of being abusive and their lives get turned upside down even when it’s one’s word against another. Luckily u kept receipts otherwise no one would believe you. This is so sad. I almost cried watching this video. We love you Jamie, you will make it through this.
