You guys are very, very professional. I salute your team at our land. We do not build mud houses in PNG. I'd like to know more.

I suggest watch a 13 part series called _What on earth happened_ by Ewaranon to learn that the earth is not a globe.

Amazing! Very well explained with the simple calculations.
I wonder how much your entire system costs?

Hi HighonRice. The total setup would have cost us 25,000 Thai Bhat. But in this case we had some old batteries we could reuse.

great video, but how come you didn't include a small electric cooking burner/grill ?

Hi shark. Would love to, but that would be a little too much energy. Also we live in the OurLand eco-village which has a central kitchen. So there wasnt any need to heat things up here. The central kitchen uses biogas to operate.

Is the inverter a direct sine wave or modified sine wave? I ended up buying a modified one as part of a premade kit without checking. Will modified sine wave inverters cause damage to equipment?

AC voltage works on a polarity switch between positive and negative voltages that then allow the equipment to work. The pure sine wave is better for overall appliances because the polarity change is smooth. With modified sine wave (also called sine wave inverter) the polarity change is sudden and just like and electricity shortage or failure can sometimes short circuit equipment. If you have a modified sine wave inverter would recommend to use it with simple items such as lights & fans. Hop this helps. Check out the link below for more info. Good luck.

@@OurLand thanks for reply 😃 yes I plan to use this small set up for just lights and fans in one room. Will put together a better set up later with better equipment
