The girlfriend is Catalina Hollow! This game takes place after San Andreas. The fact that CJ got away safe and sound from her is crazy. I think she really loved him that's why and mainly just to make CJ jealous she hung out with Claude.

lots of people has probably said this already but the timeline for the games goes Vice City in 86' San Andreas in 92' and GTA III in 2000. even tho the release order is different, some of the characters from each move on into the next one aswel so you see what there up to. might be a good way to keep the series going.

Like how in the very beggining of the game its a top down view like the originals on the playstayion 1 for a split second, then fakes it going to the third person view that we are familiar with that defined and entire genre and changed gaming forever
Gta trilogy is great theres alot of youbtubers talking bad about the game and if your reading this dont listen to them if you loved the game back then your going to love it even more now. Its not perfect but its def worth playing im having a blast with the trilogy.

Really been enjoying the definitive edition and Hollows reactions to it. Im playing through them starting with GTA 3, and I have to say, the gangs in this game are relentless when revisiting earlier parts of the map.

San Andreas and vice city were cool but this is the one that made the franchise imo. EVERYONE had this game. If you went over anyones house, they had this game. It was a staple in the early 2000s along with tony hawk pro skater lol Miss those days.
I spent more hours on this game than any other game in my life. And I gotta say, I'm underwhelmed by this remaster. The silver lining is that I hope these games don't do too well and light a fire under Rockstar to make GTA 6 even better than RDR2. Sooner rather than later.

Yeah I was 10 years old when this game came out, I would watch my older brother play this (9 years older than me). I remember so much, complete nostalgia 🥹
