This does look really nice. I want all the benefits of keeping my JoyCons, but with a little more comfort and thought something like this could be nice. I can play Switch pretty comfortably in handheld mode, but am still envious of PlayStation's portal design, which while I'm not interested in cloud-streaming my PlayStation games looks super comfortable to hold. I'm afraid of scratching/dinging my Switch with something like this, but ... this could be nice. Thanks for all the neat videos!
The case flap doesn't fit properly over the Switch screen, it is off center and I've noticed it on multiple videos now. The original slim case for the Zen Grip Pro fits it more precise aside of the extra space given to not press down on the joysticks.
The only thing I don’t like about this case is the legs on the bottom. They look dumb and I wish they were removable. If there were a good way to cut them off I would.
My OCD ass cannot get over the asimetric grip design of those grips, my rando cheap grip may not feel as premium as those but damn it doesn't trigger me like these when looking at it.
While the grip is cool, the problem with it is that, while it's docked, it renders the USB ports on the side of the Switch completely unusable. You show in the video that you could get a USB cable plugged into the bottom port, but that wasn't one of the official USB cables that comes with, say, a Pro Controller. The USB cable that came with my Pro Controller won't fit there, meaning that as long as I have my Switch in this grip while docking it, I'm either going to have to plug my controllers in somewhere else to charge or buy an extra USB cable with a shorter plug like you have. Or, another option is to take the Switch out of the grip each time you want to dock it, but then that completely defeats the purpose of getting this grip over any others. It's not necessarily the end of the world, especially if you're a user who only uses the joycons anyway, but the fact that this grip blocks some functions of the dock unless you buy an extra USB cord that might actually fit is a strike against it.
Yeah...the SkullnCo grip also does this but at least you can remove the handles entirely or change it to the smallest ones if you want to use the USB ports on the side
The skull and co has the neo grip. It is dockable, comes with interchangeable grips depending on the size of the hands and it comes to between half and a third of the price of the satysfie grips. I have satisfye original grip and the skull and co grip and I personally prefer the skull and co grip
I like satisfye better because they are built way better. The skull n co feels way to flimsy for me. I did get one for my Mario red edition, splatoon 3 special edition & the regular white one for the extras that it comes with, but I just leave the grip in the box & use the satisfye one.
@@EmCoffee573 I two prefer how the satisfye is build better than the skull and co. My problem with it is that I have small hands and after some time they get cramps. However that is why I have the original satusfye grip and the skull and co like this when my hands get tired I can exchange my grips. but yeah I also prefer the quality of the satisfye grip however I love the interchangable grips of the skull and co. One other plus for the skull and co grip that I have found is that if its equipped with the slimmest grips I can still use my original case from geek gear with it.
The skull and co is a better design in my opinion and a sleeker look, but it has a design flaw. In the version I bought there are soft pads glued in the inner sides to prevent scratching, but they have started coming loose after only a week of use. They clearly realized that the case was scratching things and added these pads as a bandaid, but the solution is a cheap after thought.
@@billable1861 well mine is. It docks just fine. The case on the other hand isn’t molded right so the thing that is supposed to go over the screen is to far to the right & covers up my joystick. But mine definitely docks.
Put my order in! Thanks for the discount code! Funny thing, I was just about to order the non dockable version. So glad I did some research on TH-cam first lol😅
How snuggly does the OLED fit in this grip? In the ZenGrip Pro the OLED model fits too tightly, bending the switch ever so slightly making me worry that it'll damage the switch.
Love the video as always ❤ Would you recommend any case which could fit both Nyxi Hyperion and these ? Just don’t want to buy multiple cases for no reason
Love this! Thank you for always featuring cool gadgets. This one is a definite buy for me.

They see me ronin, they hatin
ronin dirty
you are my favorite tech-tuber now, just putting it out there.
Appreciate it.

I bought an older version back in 2019 for $40 with the case. Now they are at $70, goddamn inflation! 😅

Could you test wether the hori dpad joycon is compatible with this grip?

*asymmetric.
Number 1 Switch accessory
this blows skull and co out the park

I'm just disappointed with the 36 dollar shipping to Canada. This would have been a buy until i hit checkout and saw that.
WOW!! sorry to hear that, too much.
Getting this now for my switch oled.. 😊
Is this, like the ZenGrips before it, not that well suited for small hands?
And does having cartridges inserted affect the ergonomics?
Feels very similar to the last zengrip. The cartridges don’t affect it at all.

I beg to differ that it is dockable just got it today and it is NOT

How long did Satisfye take to dispatch mines still has not dispatched

I'm mad i have to wait for November to get the zelda version, it looks like such a great upgrade for the original version
thanking for showing if it blocked the usb ports
Why not weighting the switch with the grip on it? Are the hand grips smaller than the previous version?
they charge it like there are circuit board and tech inside though. it's 90 bucks here in Canada it's utterly ridiculous.
Can’t justify the upgrade from the last revision for SWOLED, but man, not having to pull the Switch from the dock would be awesome.
Man this works with the regular switch too just FYI
this is basically skull & co design. did satisfye learn from their bulky mistake?
Literally is just a copy of the skull&co because obviously the previous satisfye was not dockable😂
Love the video as always ❤

Would genuinely consider buying if postage to the UK was remotely reasonable. 35 dollars to post? Nope.
