Mustafa Sarwar was not the right person to interview Mr. Sam French regarding Ahmad Zahir. He mistakenly has said Ahmad Zahir has officially released 13 albums. Actually Ahmad Zahir released 22 official albums. Afghan Music Studio 14 albums, Aryana Music Studio 2 Albums and Center Music Studio 6 albums. Besides these Albums, there are many unofficial or “Majlisi” albums. Mr. French has also made a mistake saying that some people say that Ahmad Zahir was killed by Soviets. Nobody in Afghanistan/Khorusan says that he was killed by Russians but they say he was killed by Communists who just came to power in 1978.
I am so glad today to hear that Mr Sam French would make his documentry film of his live. I hope that it wil win again the best oscars. Cont wait to we all watch this documentry.
@Ahmad Zahir yes dear, i am crazy about him. Do you know? He haged me when i was 4 or 5 months old. He toke me of the stage, from my mom and singing and kissing me.... adorable I am still listening to his songs every day, even i growth up in Europe.
