I have to apologize. I exaggerated when I told you that I've had "9 Dutch 200" games. I just didn't want to give a long explanation that for the past month, it's rare when I can string strikes together. I meant to say I'm bowling clean games for the most part, aside from splits. I'm hitting the pocket, my spare game has been the best it's ever been. But I just can't seem to string strikes. Have you ever had times like that in your career? And if so, what did you do to correct it? Edit: I wanted to give an objective opinion on how you have said that you don't throw as good of shots as you once did. Have you ever considered that you throw great shots, but the lane conditions are getting tougher by the year? Just something to consider. The game is evolving fast
I have an interesting stat. My longest string of strikes in a PBA national tournament was 28. That was over 3 games, only one 300. In the same tournament, I had 28 consecutive frames where I didn't have a double. The lane conditions are probably not any tougher than they used to be. I'm 65. If I was as good as I used to be, I would still be bowling on tour making 4 to 10 TV shows a year winning 1 to 2 tournaments a year. My last 10 years on tour I think I had 4 TV shows and no wins. I don't throw the ball as well as I used to. I'm decent for my age, but I'm not as good as I used to be. The guys who bowl on tour are very, very good. They don't get enough credit for how good they are. Most people think they are bowling on house shots, they are not.
@walterraywilliamsjr3964 Oh yeah absolutely. There are some sports patterns that play similar to house shots, but they punish much more severely for missing your target. The Holman, Roth, Aulby, and Monacelli patterns are the best examples.
Nice team game, hope the good showing continued.
You've been wearing that Mesmerize out. Is that the same ball or have you replaced it?
I have drilled only one so far. When I throw it well, it works pretty good.
@@walterraywilliamsjr3964 It does. I just wondered if you were using one that is tracked up or a fresh one.
That kid can chuck it!!!
Dasha sighting.
