“We never knew why it grew so large”
That’s because it was a Utahraptor or a deinonychus
    Love the little Easter egg

Nah, the Alpharaptor was too big, Utahs and Deinos are the size of regular JP raptors, the Alpharaptor was... something else. There are some things you find in Burroughs, the Harbor, and the mountain compound that give hints that Wu was "up to something". Alpharaptor might have been the first hybrid, in a nod to the camouflaging Carnotaurs from the Lost World novel.

    "we bred 7 of them"
    1. Roberta from Jurassic Park
    2. The Doe from The Lost World
    3. The Buck from The Lost World
    4. The female from Trespasser
    5. The male from Trespasser
    6. The Alpha male from Trespasser
    7. The Bull from Jurassic Park 3

There were more than three rexes in Trespasser. The first one you encounter in the canyon (female), the one fighting the trike when you leave burroughs (male), the two fighting above the dam (Male and female, fighting over dead para), the one fighting the stego at the docks (Female), and then the big boi (Unique color variant, though with it being red perhaps it is actually Big Girl)at the mountaintop temple. Six in total, implying that the seventh was in fact Rexy. I would assume that two of them were supposed to be the buck and doe from Lost World, considering that the game was based off that film. But by the time JP3 was made, Universal denied Trespasser as being canon and wanted nothing to do with it, as well as the fact that the puppeteers and designers for JP3 confirmed that the rex that lost to the spino was "not" Junior but was indeed young and inexperienced and that is why it pushed for the fight with the Spino, which would mean that it was not one of the original seven. Not that it matters because again, Trespasser is not canon. So who knows how many Rexes were originally cloned in canon. Which is sad because Sir Attenborough's voiceover work for Trespasser was stellar and does not get the recognition it deserves and the game itself, while flawed, had amazing potential and would've defined its generation if the devs had been allowed the time they needed to finish it.

@@NathanielTavington There's only three. And Trespasser is canon.

@@NathanielTavington Totally agree about all of this! Well put! Trespasser will remain one of the JP I/P’s hidden gems. My favorite Jurassic game and an amazing story in the JP universe. It deserves more coverage and attention.

No, it isn't, and it kinda never was to beginning with. Mostly because it says the events of the original movie were in 1989 (which went the novel took place), when the original movie took place in 1993 and how the Brachiosaurus was "the only true Jurassic animal" when the dilo exist, and the fact the game said they let every dinosaur into the wild which isn't the case in the movie, the only reason why the dinosaur are out was due to the evacuation of the island due to a hurricane, before that all the dinosaurs were caged and shipped to Nublar after being cared for, and in the game it said that the island became abandoned due to John going bankrupt, but the reason was actually because of the hurricane. Plus recently movies also make it not canon, with characters like Benjamin Lockwood, and the fact they clone triassic animals which the game never mentioned that period at all.

Wonder if we ever see other 2 trex or if they were killed by spino given we know it stated it was hunting them.
Also people forget it only confirm 7 “Bred” by ingen not 7 exist in the franchise as jr and little eatie don’t count as part of 7 as they were born naturally compared to their parents and given how they reach adult hood in 3-4 yrs they definitely more than 7 trex in Jurassic park
(Not to mention if you did add jr and little eatie it would make 8 as little eaties has a dad which we know the farther can’t be the bull who died during jp3 and buck who still shown with doe indicating they mate with pair for life)

It’s a stretch but the herbivores seem more likely to get a read on their behavior. Sauropods especially, considering they’ll graze instead of actively stomp us to paste. Armored/horned or skittish hadrosaurs on the other hand are a different issue

    • @NathanielTavington
      @NathanielTavington 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@z-man1237 I honestly feel like all of the herbivores would have been more dangerous by nature. Carnivores aren't going to kill unless they're hungry, but if the attitude of modern herbivores is any kind of indication.... Sauropods = Elephants, Trikes/Ankys = rhinos/buffalo. Even deer will kill you if you catch them in a bad mood.
