In the end William made the conscious choice to not only kill children but to have his very first victim be the child of his best friend and business partner, knowing full well how it would hurt him. To say nothing of the experiments he did and things he built to kill and kidnap innocent kids. While I’m all for second chances, at the same time you can’t just forget past misdeeds. They have to be remembered to have a guideline on what to prevent. Meaning if it were me, no killing period. Only time I could made a exception is self defense and even then try to avoid it.
They haven’t forget williams past actions they just under stand what he went through and try to ignore it because they now he’s trying to change and be better
