A few firsts here for me. First tournament in the Ranger, first blast off in a tournament this big, and first tournament on Kerr. I still can't wipe the smile off my face. Hope you guys enjoyed and I can't wait for the next one.

Kerr is a pretty dang big lake too. Lots of creek arms to explore. Just gonna take time to get a feel for the lake.
So happy you got hooked up with a Ranger. Been waitin for you to get back out in the Gambler but a new Ranger works too. I have a channel too and always liked your videos/channel. No disrespect to your TinRig but it looks like something a teenager would fish out of. Solid work on the rig just not my style which is fine, still liked and watched all your videos. As a late 40s fisherman im lookin forward more to your upcoming tournaments in the Ranger.

Good video! I would say upsize bait may help next time. But sometimes it’s just a rough day full of little bites. Always a joy but ain’t winning no tournament. Haha moving water can be a great place to fish, definitely look into it. Keep it up! Tight lines!

I fished out of a flatbottom for ever then got a skeeter with a 300. My fishing style sped up. Don't forget to slow it down when fishing

If you're going to continue to fish NC tournaments I'd highly suggest throwing shad rap SR5 in natural shad, carolina rigged senko or lizard-type baits in junebug, texas rigged creature baits like the Rage Tail Structure Bug, AND a medium-sized spoon... especially on tough days like your Day 1. The drop shot has let me down so many times in NC and will often just get the micro's to bite

69 fully loaded. With just me + gear no livewells I hit 70.2. Think that's about all she's got. Fast enough =]

That's faster than I want to go. My 19 foot Alumacraft 90 hp Yamaha 4 stroke tiller runs about 35. That's good enough for me. Though I wish I could hang the 115 hp on it as that would give me a better hole shot.
