Sun Wukong being voiced by Goku's voice actor makes too much sense. Also I like how Sun Wukong is boisterous and belligerent even after being enlightened.
He started as a (relatively) normal monkey out of stone. Everything else he had to learn, train and master over the course of decades and decades. Only when he was in heaven and stole the gods' food and wine was he kinda taking a shortcut, yet he still overpowered them all through his own learned powers.
I kind of get the impression that monkie kid pulled some inspirations from OSPs videos, as wukong here gives me some of the vibes that osp wukong gives.

I have a theory about MK, MK possibly adopted by Pigsy because he live in his home from Pigsy’s Noodles, we don’t know where MK was come from and why Sun Wukong chose MK to be his sucessor without any reason? 🤔
