My favorite roller coaster there is Iron Gwazi, followed by Cheetah Hunt, old Gwazi, Sheikra, Kumba, Montu, Court's Curse, Tigris, Sand Serpent, Scorpion, and Python.
Another banger! I would agree with the Tigris placement. After experiencing other Sky Rocket IIs it is definitely the weakest of those and not super enjoyable.
Glad you enjoyed! Yeah, skyrocket IIs with comfort collars are kinda worthless after having ridden superman and phobia, they are just so much more comfortable and fun.
for me, the collar portion of the comfort collar isnt a problem, but the lapbar is actually horrific. The cramped ergonomic design of the cars doesn't help either. Idk what the max height restriction for this ride is, but i think it definitely should be reduced bc its not particularly safe for taller guest imo lol. My friends and I who are all tall get bruised (and even once broken skin) thighs and shins and elbows from this ride, purely bc of the bad design of the restraints. Great list though! My personal fav in this park is Sheikra!
Yeah the premier trains are just super small. I hate the collars because they dig into my neck, but everything else you listed is bad too, especially if you are tall like you said.
My Rankings (I've even here 43 times but this is the ranking from my most recent visit in February 2024) 1 Iron Gwazi 2 Cheetah Hunt 3 Montu 4 Sheikra 5 Kumba 6 Cobra's Curse 7 Tigris 8 Scorpion 9 Air Grover (surprisingly I've never gotten this credit)
I don’t think it is actually a family coaster, but it fails to be thrilling which is why it “feels like a family coaster”, at least to me and many other enthusiasts. But hey, if you can enjoy it more props to you! I still like it, but there is better at the park for sure.
@@coasterswithmatt I see cheetah hunt as a moderate thrill level coaster that sits between the family coaster like cobra's curse and a more high thrill like kumba. There are some pretty thrilling elements enough to keep people engaged. The first launch, while only 30 mph, is startling and sudden and can intimidate the people in the queue. The second launch is pretty forceful and there's a nice pop of airtime when reaching the tower. And the steep drop from the tower is an underrated thrilling element. The third launch over the airtime hill gives a nice pop of airtime. Throw in a heartline roll and all those elements add up to be a moderately thrilling coaster. Calling it a "family coaster" is a pretty myopic view of roller coasters. That's why I have issues with enthusiasts that simply label it as such.
Agree with your top 2, disagree with the rest of the list. BGT is my home park, the ops are horrible agree with that. With that being said I’ve never been able to get Iron Gwazi more than twice in a visit if I want to do the other coasters so don’t feel bad.
After my revisit a lot of my rankings have changed! I like Sheikra alot more now and Gwazi was running FANTASTIC. Thanks for watching and for the comment!
@@Immelmann_ImagesI’ve captured a lot of tons of photos and videos, and I’m gonna keep on capturing some more! And I even posted a lot of them on Google Map!
That airtime after the launch on cheetah hunt at 4:41 flung me like crazy at front row so I can’t imagine the whip you get in the back 😂
It’s definitely one of the better moments of the ride
@@coasterswithmattyeah for sure it’s mostly quite tame but that caught me off guard tbf

That’s cool that you rode Gwazi before it became Iron Gwazi!
Another great video, as always!
Thanks man!

Great countdown! Busch Gardens Tampa looks to have such a good coaster lineup. Would you say Hulk is more intense than Kumba?
I would personally put Hulk above Kumba, yeah.
@@coasterswithmatt Nice
shekria number 2 but other then that completely agree
For sure!

For some reason kumba was super forceless outside of the zero g roll and cobra roll
Nice man! By the way, I have returned since making this video and Gwazi SLAPPED. So it's still #1, but a much stronger #1 now.
I don't consider cheetah hunt to be a family coaster.

those grover seats are not cool for the dudes lol
also your IG experience was def tragic. can't wait for a redemption visit
Yup you know exactly what I mean 😂
And about Gwazi, Me too I can’t wait!!!
dude what mic r u using?!?!?
It’s a microphone by FIFINE. Very affordable, especially for the audio quality.
@@coasterswithmattI thought you had the Hyperx Quadcast S?
@@chargedonpc9989 oh nah it must have just looked like that one in a video that you saw it in.
@@coasterswithmatt Oh interesting.
Yeah IG might be a little overrated. I think it’s because it’s newer. Kumba is just the opposite. It’s overrated because of the nostalgia.
Yeah that makes sense for both of them.

HOW DARE YOU PLACE AIR GROVER SO LOW IT IS THE BEST RIDE IN THE PARK
