- THAT DIDN'T GO AS PLANNED AT ALL!// Happy Tuesday from us! Today's video wasn't actually planned at all because we wanted to film something else hence the title. It goes to show that no matter how well you plan your content, it just doesn't always work. We paid a spontaneous visit to a wonderful farm shop in North Wales and ended up filming the rest of this video at home, doing work in our master bedroom (we hope you like it) and work for Joerg, oh no. I (Kirsten) share some bits and bobs that really inspire, i.e.a lot of home content and people I look up to. Much love. Kirsten & Joerg xx

The chest of drawers!!! What a beautiful piece 😍. I always line my drawers as well, sometimes with scented drawer paper for linens and bedding. The cow creamer always just brings a smile 😃. The lights are so tasteful, perfect! I love how you take time with decorating. Oh, the rattan tray... what a piece of art really. I think the room speaks to you if you give it time. 🥰 I wasn't expecting your video today but as always...... it's a sheer delight.

I so look forward to watching you decorate your home. Love the scenery but love to see you both at home and anything that has to do with the inside or outside gardening. I would love to see you do a show about your yard and what grows in the different seasons in England. Please think about doing something like this if you can. You both would be amazing at fixing your yard up with all of the beautiful English flowers and shrubs.

Drawer liner idea is fantastic! Also, the walnut looks like burl walnut to me-with the top glimpse it looked like a piece sliced in half and used opposite each other for a decorative symmetrical top. Woodworkers from centuries past were so skilled! In my antique dresser I put sachets-not to scent my clothing, but because it helps counteract the older wood smell. Those could be very thin paper packets that go under your wall paper lining. Also a good bar of soap rubbed on the underside of the drawer where it “glides” will lubricate it a bit for smooth drawer in & outs. Lovely drawer drop pulls.
So many lovely things. Your "new" dresser is absolutely stunning. I love Queen Anne and especially walnut burl. While things didn't work out as planned, it was a fine diversion from my everyday.
Hello Kirsten and Joerg! That was a very fun excursion. I always enjoy little outings with you two. That was a gorgeous antique dresser you purchased!! I'm in love with it. The whole design and luxurious wood grain. Wow. Have you ever heard of Teabloom? I just recently purchased some flowering teas and organic loose-leaf tea from them. I also ordered a teapot. I'm enjoying a cup while I write this. Anyway, if you love tea as much as I see you do, you should check them out. It's fun to watch the tea bloom in the glass teapot. Love to you both! :)

This is why I love you both. You took something disappointing and turned it into a different adventure that was just as enjoyable. I wrote you once, that so much colours and furniture is too much for me. But, I saw a lot of nice things I would like to have. Substandly I like the english style, the wallpapers, the fabriks, the furniture, the cottages and the landscapes. By the way, your master bedroom looks nice, especially the wallpaper.
