I liked this song at first but it's not really agreeing with me. Does God really bring the rain, the problems and difficulty? I don't think so. Or, am I interpretating it wrong? It rains on the just and the unjust but that does not mean that HE brings the rain, right?
Hello, I think you might be misinterpreting the meaning of rain in this song. If you listen to the first verse it tells of how God plants seeds, but he doesn’t stop there, he helps that seed grow by providing it the rain it needs. God will bring to completion the good work he has begun in you. This is a song of God’s faithfulness to give us what we need to grow into who he wants us to be, even if we don’t see it. When that verse states that is rains on the just and unjust, rain is a good thing. In most instances of rain in the Bible it is seen as a blessing since the Israelites lived in a dry region where rain was vital to growing crops. I hope this makes sense, have a blessed day!
I understand what you mean, but I don't believe that's how they meant it. There's no harvest without rain. Without the rain, there would be drought. In this context, the rain is a blessing.
You bring the rain 🌧️ my favorite thank you God 😊
