I actually think the scoreboard offers up something that could be really awesome for a ballpark village - a jumboscreen on the reverse side that airs the game! I've been to Wrigleyville, and you can't really see into the stadium... and there is greenspace/bars/restaurants with a great view of a giant screen airing the game or other sporting events.
The issue is, the parking garage goes underneath Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse and that is where the Cavs player park. Will be interesting to see how things play out.
@@nicholasuszko no it isnt it is dumb and changing it because nonexistent native americans might be offended (they never were) was a terrible decision.
I prefer the original name and logo, too, but what's done is done. The thing that pisses me off is the Braves, Chiefs, Blackhawks, and Florida State weren't strong armed into changing as well. Should be an across the board change if they made Cleveland change.
Knowing the cheapskate owners, they probably just wanted the parking garage to be able to get full control of those high dollar parking revenues. Then once the garage is in need of big repairs years down the line, then they might re develop the area.
Target Field has also been mentioned for something like this. The Hennepin County Garbage I incinerator has been mentioned for moving or closing. The Twins could then redevelop it as a ballpark village. It could happen.
I don’t understand how the team name Indians is offensive. In the government, the agency that handles all the reservations in the country is literally call the bureau of INDIAN affairs. The act like they are solving racism by changing a sports teams name. A sport that kids play for free for fun. Even if they changed it, they could have changed it to something better than the Guardians. And last, the people that wanted the name changed, don’t even watch sports. Everything the left in America touches turns to shit. It’s like they are trying to make everything suck on purpose.
Replace the renovated area in the upper right field and put the scoreboard over there, that might solve this solution? It would be really cool to see that area as a sports district between the Guards and Cavs
The owners realize the money is really in the potential real estate deals the taxpayer subsidies for them. The Indians don't need a new stadium. The owners would love a multi billion dollar real estate profit. .
Thanks you for calling them the Indians. They will always be the Indians to me. And i was born, raised, and lived in Pittsburgh my whole life. Im a Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers fan. But since the Indians play in the AL I always rooted for them unless they’re playing the Pirates.
It’s tough being a Pirates fan. Even if the team starts doing good and makes the playoffs the greedy asshole Nutting will just trade the good players away. If the Pirates do get good again, they would have to win the World Series that year. Because if they don’t Nutting will make sure that they don’t for at least a decade after that. He’s getting all this MLB profit sharing money and pocketing it. What he’s doing should be against the rules of the profit sharing system.
Who knows!? I hope they do something creative, don't copy Atlanta be original on something unique ,if this current team keeps winning you can get do something
It would be totally stupid to remove parking. There are enough parking issues in that area
I really don’t think the scoreboard is a problem
The loading ramp to the Arena and the ballpark is through that garage- so there are limitations to what can be done.

Everyone in Cleveland hates the PC name change. Nothing they do will fix that.
How nice of you to speak for everyone.
Speak for yourself, the name is Fine.

Great idea. Originally there was going to be a plaza showing games on massive tv in plaza
They can do both. Bottom level is the stores, experiences and more. After that they could sinplely have the parking go higher.
Gillette Stadium was one of the first teams to do it, if not the first in North American professional sports.
Move the scoreboard behind the bullpen
@@adamspitz4281 and trigger DG of the scoreboard placement like in Arizona and Milwaukee
To me, it'll always be known as Jacob's Field.😊
The blue seats are hideous. It matches nothing. The walls are green. The dugouts are green. That green was iconic.
It matches their uniforms
Do the guardians not have blue in their logo? Better than red.
Yeah, in the new ballpark boom most of them were going with green seats.
I suggest they call it Indian Village.
👌

More renovations, i.e. move the scoreboard to right field.
First..Go Tribe!

Let the Cleveland Browns can have Progressive Field and the Cleveland Guardians can get a new Baseball Stadium at Brooks Park
You can't play football at Progressive Field. Don't say stupid things.
@@Tank4Life did you know that Choctaw Stadium just became a UFL and MLR Stadium
Make it like St. Louis
The name progressive field fits. just like everything else progressive, they make it worse.

Maybe they could put the Browns in their village lol

Youre calling Progressive Field an "investment." Absolutley not an investment. The Dolans contributed nothing to the renovation.
