I wonder why parents have to be shocked to get gifts from their own kids after being NBA or NFL players.
Some of these players come from nothing. They work hard for 20+ years then finally get that big contract where they can finally provide for their parents and fulfill the promises they made when they were young. I think any parent would be in tears or proud of their children if you were to get a house or car or any gift after their kid makes it.
