Birthday mv alone is not enough. To get the full Birthday experience, you need to watch the dance practice cuz its glorious✨🔥🤌 It's a dance masterpiece and no one else in Kpop could do that choreo except for Ten. Many are hailed as the best dancer in kpop but you will realize that Ten, especially in his Birthday dance practice video, is the real deal🔥

He's one of the best artists I've ever seen in the whole K-pop industry, ngl. I know there are a bunch of other artists who might be bigger than him, of course, because they've been in K-pop for so long. But in K-pop, there are many groups and soloists who are talented AF but still don't get the recognition they deserve. This might be because of their companies' lack of promotions or whatever. In K-pop, some companies take foreigners for granted.
In NCT, he's an ace of the group, that's why he has a lot of freedom. In k-pop having tattoos is a big taboo, even though it's eventually changing, in NCT a lot of members has tattoos, And I'm glad at least they let him do whatever he wants. He always has part in most of his cheographies too.
He has suffered a lot though. He was about to debut in NCT 127, but he suffered from chronic knee pain & had a Major knee surgery. When he came back after a year of hiatus, NCT 127 had already debuted. He was with no group for 1 year atleast. Then they put him in WayV, the Chinese sub-unit of NCT, and he had to learn Chinese along with Korean. WayV is mainly focused on China's market and they're very popular there, even in Thailand, Singapore, Japan, and many other Asian countries. But in European countries, they're kinda underrated. I'd love to recommend you their group work, but I don't know if you're ready to discover them or not. If you are, I can recommend some of their music.
His solo album "TEN" is satisfying to listen and it's all ENGLISH again 😂 you can go check out performance video : 10 and lie with you too!
Grrrrrrl, you NEED to watch the dance practice!
As much as I enjoy the mv, the dance practice is superior imo, as you get to see the choreography in it's entirety... and trust me when I say, it's a piece you need to experience in full. Not to mention Ten's execution of it is absolute perfection!
The "practice" though is no ordinary dance practice btw... it's lit, shot and edited more like a very stripped back performance video.
Anyhoo.... subscribing in the hopes you'll react to more Ten/NCT. 😊💚

[Most abbreviated explanation of the NCT structure ever... *NCT (or Neo Culture Technology)* is a 26 member group that is typically split into 4 main *FIXED* member units *(127, Dream, WayV* and *Wish)* .... plus one *NON-FIXED* member unit *(U),* where the members are changing on a per song basis and can be any number/combination of any of the members from the overall group. Think of it as the mix-n-match unit. (we typically only see this unit when there's the rare full group album dropped every couple of years... which has been 4 in the last 8 years).
(Side note, WayV is a Chinese unit and Wish is a Japanese unit... meaning while they live/train in SK, their promotions are more focused on those markets and are primarily in those languages.)
Last but not least, is *DJJ* which is an R&B sub-unit of 127 featuring three of it's members (Doyoung, Jaehyun & Jungwoo or DoJaeJung).]
Apologies if this explanation is overwhelming... 😭 just don't let it scare you off from exploring them, as they truly have some of the best production, visuals, vocalists, rappers and dancers in the industry.
I was waiting for your reaction 😅. First of all, thank you so much for the reaction! Btw His solos are always in English. I wish you had reacted to his dance practice too, but that's fine. However, if you want to, I highly recommend it. His birthday choreography is mind-blowing.
Anyway, other than that, I recommend his "performance film: 10" and "Lie with You" track video for now. They are from his album. Also, I highly recommend his album, of course 😂. I'm telling you, it's literally a no-skip album. You're gonna like it.
He also has quite a few solos before that: "Dream In a Dream," "New Heroes," and "Paint Me Naked."
Lastly "Baby don't stop" ten & Taeyong (NCT member)
"Low low" ten & YangYang (his group member),
"Lovely choreography" ten & winwin (his group member), it's a masterpiece.
"The riot" ten & Xiaojun (his group member) the riot it kinda underrated because it was for a promotion or something, but it's a bop.

I love Ten. He is an all rounder. His mini-album is a no skip banger and is sung in all English. In my personal opinion, I believe he is one of the best dancers in the Asian pop industry. I would strongly suggest reacting to the dance practice for Birthday. There’s so much you don’t see in the mv dance wise. Love your reactions!!!
Thank you so much for reacting to this! I agree with all the other recommendations in the comments, too. I would definitely suggest watching the 10-Performance Film after listening to the full album so it doesn't spoil any of the songs for you (but that's a matter of preference).
If you want to listen to a song that's very different from Nightwalker and Birthday, I suggest listening to Paint Me Naked (it's a bop!).
When it comes to NCT birthday songs are not what you think. "Make a wish" is an example. He has another solo song called "paint me naked" is old but its good.
Thank you. You should check out NCT. Ten is a member of WayV, a sub-unit of NCT. NCT has 26 members from different countries (US, Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Macau, etc.), largest group in Kpop. But they are divided into different sub-units: NCT 127, NCT U, NCT DREAM, WayV, NCT WISH. You won't regret checking them out.

Most of Ten's songs, that I know of, are English❤. You should also listen to LOW LOW and Paint Me Naked, these two are one of my most favorite songs by him and hopefully you enjoy them too❤.
I think to get to know an artist it's important to see their very first work so i highly suggest DREAM IN A DREAM mv. But you need to watch his dance practice cuz it's perfection. You will fall in love with him in the dance practice.❤️

@@LenaBeeReacts then you got yourself a new subscriber! I've been into kpop since 2nd gen but never have I seen anyone who could dance more beautifully than Ten so I revisit his dance practices and performances more than his mvs..
Also he will be having a comeback this June 3 with his whole group WayV. Their song will be titled Give Me That👍 if you like Ten, you will probably like them a lot too. Plus it will be timely so it's good for the views😉
