The 530F is the only radar Missle higher of 10.3 that still has a Pulse seeker. That's the same seeker Missles like the Aim-9C and R-3R use and that's also the reason it goes after chaff every time
magic2 is insane now i shot it at 1km f16 trying to stall me when i was going 400km and i Rader lock him and shot and thought to myself that missile cant pull its really hard shot but holy that magic2 turned like r73 but was way faster and kaboom him the only missile that can pull that off was r73 or maybe aam3

I still take the 530Fs just to have something to shoot to get someone to maneuver in the head on. Honestly I get more kills with them than the 530e.

still dont understand why gaijin dont make the 530f at least somewhat chaff resistant, just a little bit because it doesnt make sense and it's just not realistic how ONE chaff can defeat the 530f
@zdarky_6623 it uses a pulse seeker and if they buff this then all the other missiles like the aim 9c or r3r would need to be buffed
It's not the missle it is the radar
Seeing Mig23s drive twice as well as a Mirage F1 is quite frustrating... The F1 is not a dogfighter in reality but neither is the Mig23, yet in WT he's good... And we know that irl it was bad at dogfighting, it was never designed for that. The Americans who recovered Mig 23s quickly understood this when they tested them, they said that a Mig 23 could never follow a Phantom in a dogfight, that it would be a sure death.
In my experience and one of my friends who fully agrees the Mirage F1 is a good looking aircraft but a pain to fly i got the F1C-200 only to grind out France.
It was a nightmare i never gone back and forth for using loadouts and play styles on any jet this was before the buffs given to it yes skill issue is always a factor but still its gonna be a long time before I can remove the stain this aircraft has made on my service record
I have every French plane except this and rank 8.... been tempted just to complete the tree in entirety
talking of weridly good planes, i just got my Kill Record in ARB... With an Tornado ADV... 8 kills and 1 Teamkill (woops). 7 of the kills without landing, i enjoy that phat bish for some reason haha

i use the radar MTI, the lock is way better (its PD of wish) but the 530 still love chaff
Why aren't you talking about radar? It's not the missle it is because it doesn't have dopler. If I'm not mistaken it has MTI radar. Works fine within 5km and low to ground

F4 Phantom is not grear in maneur battle. only one danger F4 brings is all corner rockets
