- SESSION: "Tape #2" - Realistic edit (Session: Skate Sim) - PC
Here's my second edit of the series from Session v1.0. Just having fun and trying to get nice looking clips. Planning to do more of these in the future with other Session content as well. Someone asked me a while back for a filming/replay editor guide. Would that be a good idea?
Settings are all hardcore with manual catch and all that good stuff. In my opinion, the only way to play the game. Thanks for watching! Let me know if you are currently working on a montage yourself or just stacking clips. Damn this game is fun!

Wellp, this was incredible. From the skating to the filming to the editing, you're untouchable. It takes a lot of elements executed just right to show a personal style in making edits of this game and you achieve it with flying colors. I couldn't sub fast fast enough lol. Most of these tricks are nothing short of wizardry, and filmed in a way to make them pack a punch on screen.
I could go on but it'd turn into blathering. You get the idea. Keep em coming lol.

i’m absolutely stoked for Skate 4, don’t get me wrong, but i know it probably won’t adhere as closely to realism as session does, and man, it just looks SO CLEAN in this game. you make it look so damn good.

This video is also incredibly well-edited! The bail at 1:19 really made an enormous impact, just because of the way you made the flying colors match the music and the skating. I can tell you like polejams, that is not difficult! 😜
And your double slide thingie at 2:32 was also very creative! I might just try to do that as well in one of my future videos! 😇

this is exactly what i hoped people would do with this game. making use of all the features and tricks, creative lines, filmed and edited like an actual skate video.

I really appreciate it! And well said. That's pretty much my approach to Session. Trying to create "skate videos" that are fun to watch. I think a huge part of it is trying to keep it grounded in some sort of reality.

@@part-time-ninja its not just the realism, session actually feels like skating. its hard to nail tricks and to add style, you gotta have your tricks down and the OPTION of style is something new alltogether. that's the whole reason i still go back to skater XL sometimes, cause it's easier so you can focus on your style more.

Hey dude! That's called a pressure flip, there are variations. You hold down your back foot stick, a bit to the side to place your foot in the pocket and then pull the front foot stick down as well, not up. Try it out.

Hey! You mean after I'm done editing the video? You can use Dropbox or just a USBC cable for my Android. Copy them over and that's it.
