I really like the large one you used in this video. That only seems to be available on Amazon UK. If anyone has found it in the USA, please let me know! Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Katie, just a tip. When scraping things off the cutting board, turn your knife upside down so the sharp side is facing upwards. You will dull the cutting blade by scraping the knife along the board
Whilst the supermarkets are selling bags of potatoes for 15p or less I brought enough to last until the end of January. I'm storing them out of their plastic packaging and in an old pillowcase in the dark. I thought I'd share this tip. ❤
Brilliant video as always guys. I just wanted to say merry Christmas and thank you as through your videos you have permeated my entire year with joy. ❤
Awww! Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words Lindsay, they truly mean the world to us! 💚 We’re so happy to hear that our videos have brought you joy throughout the year. Thank you so much for your lovely comment Imogen, it means so much to us! 😊 We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed the video, and we’re glad the Christmas dinner had your mouth watering. That’s the best compliment we could hope for! Merry Christmas from all of us 🤗
love your videos sm! I dont know why this made me emotional though , i can’t even afford a food shop so no christmas dinner for us, breaks my heart , but you guys never fail to make me smile even a little bit 😢❤
Both of you are so clever! I'm in the US (Florida) and when I make stuffing, I add sausage, you could add vegan crumbles. Gives it such great flavor. When we were in London, we bought frozen Yorkshire puddings and loved them. I would love to see a video of Bob making them start to finish. If he's already made one, please tell me where to find it. Thanks for all the great videos! I'm always so happy to see a new one! Merry Christmas!🎄
Hi family freedom hope you are well and having a good day! Great video! I'm not keen on Christmas Dinner myself as I'm very fussy😂 but stuffing and gravy is what I have from a Christmas dinner😂but with mash potato instead of roast potatoes 😂 I'm still debating with my mum about having pasta and garlic bread on Christmas 😂 haha I'm so random😂😂 You guys are just missing a glass of shloer with your dinner😊 Take care Just keep rising 💚🌻🌿
Hey Lana, thanks for your comment! 😃 You can't go wrong with a bit of stuffing, mash potato and gravy, YUM!!! 😋 We'll definitely have to get some shloer for Christmas, thanks for the reminder! 🙏 We hope you have a great weekend. Just keep rising 💚🌻🌿
I’ve been making my Christmas dinner in the air fryer a few years now 😂 I just prefer my veg & potatoes in the airfryer! 😂 I have never made my own stuffing like that though you’ve inspired me! ❤️
Hiya! First time to comment! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! I am Half English(1st Gen) and half Scots-Many generations ago....I still have family in Kent, but was born and raised in The South-North Carolina. I grew up with cauliflower cheese-and I'm PRETTY SURE? That we started eating it when my Mother was learning to cook "American/Southern"-as well as Other cuisines . She inspired me at an early age to cook...I was/ am CALLED to it.....she had ALL of the cookbooks-including Julia Child, which is where I think cauliflower cheese came from-a French dish....I shall Google it in a minute! LOL!!! In MY house, I'm pretty sure it was Julia Child.... I also grew up eating Sunday Roast Dinner, but it was NEVER "Compromised" with said dish! LOL!!! I, am NOT MAD that you all are including it! I am a huge fan, and might need for y'all to pick up some groceries for me, whilst out adventuring through the aisles-Not even Kidding! Just got to the part of the video about the Yorkshire Puds! LOLOLOLOL!!! My FAVE-and I make it very well as Well!!! LOL!!!Gonna go see if I can add you on FB? Happy Christmas and Boxing Day, from Charlotte N.C.
Wow, thank you so much for your amazing comment Hilary, it absolutely made our day! 😊 We’re so happy to hear you’re enjoying our videos and connecting with the recipes and traditions. Your story about growing up with cauliflower cheese and Sunday Roast Dinner is so wonderful, and we love the Julia Child connection (such a legend!). Sounds like you’re an incredible cook with a lot of passion and talent, we’d absolutely trust you with the Yorkshire Puds! 😉 And if we’re ever in Charlotte, N.C., we’ll be sure to team up for a grocery haul! Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and Boxing Day too, filled with love, laughter, and delicious food. Thanks for being part of our journey, it means so much to us! 💚🇺🇸💚
Thank you so much for you lovely kind comment Marilyn! Glad we're not the only ones who have forgotten dishes 🙈😂 Sending all our love to you in Canada 🇨🇦💚🇨🇦
Ooh, diced celery and seasoning and sage sound like fantastic additions, thanks for sharing your tips! We love how everyone has their own little twists to make stuffing extra special. 😊 Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! Wishing you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas filled with love, joy, and delicious food! 🎄💚
That was a lot of food! Love the pigs in sleeping bags. Bob, the problem with your Yorkies may have been using a glass dish. We always make one big Yorkie and it does puff. More like big bubbles and on the edges. I've always used a cast iron pan in the oven. Also as your batter had sat overnight you might need to add a touch more leavening. Hi from Oregon!
I’ve never had stuffing and I’ve never even seen it here in Germany Never heard about cauliflower cheese as well 😂 I cook almost everything in my air fryer ! I Like cauliflower that’s cut in thick slices and then sprinkled with a little oil and seasoned to your liking . Or puff pastry , spread cream cheese evenly on it , then some parsley and chives , zucchini and bell pepper and some cheese , roll the puff pastry up , cut into 1 cm thick slices and put them into the air fryer until done and serve with a dip of your liking! Btw this looks delicious I like to use a little casserole dishes inside my airfryer Here in Germany a lot of people like to eat potato salad with sausages on Christmas Eve
During this years Thanksgiving, my aunt realized she left the creamed corn in the microwave when she went to put her apple crumble in, and then realized after dessert was over, she forgot the apple crumble 😂
I cooked with a air fryer for the first time yesterday and we cooked pigs and blankets it was amazing and I will be using air fryers more often now as it good to cook food in I watched a program about air fryers the other day as it was how to cook Christmas dinner in a air fryer 😊
I made the christmas wellington log tinghy from your cooking challenge. It was AMAZING! Cauliflower cheese aint a thing in the netherlands at x-mas. A lot of dutch people eat cauliflower with a cheese sauce all year round
Hi guys love your channel just something I bought as an air fryer convert (I haven't used my oven for over a year I do use the hob though) I appreciate you don't eat meat but I think a thermometer is a good idea they are about £6.50 on Amazon and it will ensure the pastry is cooked through I absolutely love your food have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year xx
well done guys im not vegatarian but must admit some of your dishes look scrumptious and yes katie i have left cooked dishes in the air fryer i did it only the other day Katie i loved your idea for the pigs in blankets or should i say duvets lol. I love watching all your videos guys you brighten up my day Merry christmas and a happy new year to you and all your family love Gina from staffordshire x
Thank you so much for your lovely comment Georgina, it means the world to us! 😊 We’re so glad you’ve been enjoying our videos and that the dishes caught your eye (even as a non-veggie, what a compliment!). Haha, “pigs in duvets” definitely gave us a laugh, so glad you loved the idea! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year too, filled with love, laughter, and delicious food. Sending lots of love to you in Staffordshire! 💚
Great ideas., love the homemade stuffing. I will be using my halogen oven, single air fryer and table top hob to cook my Christmas dinner as I no longer have an oven.
Thank you so much Catherine 💚 we’re so glad you loved the ideas, especially the homemade stuffing! 😊 It sounds like you’ve got a great setup with your halogen oven, air fryer, and tabletop hob! We hope you have a wonderful Christmas 🎄🎁
Very clever cooking a whole dinner in the air fryer. Yes, we forgot the stuffing for xmas lol. 😆😆 We have chestnut stuffing which I pick from the trees near my place. All for free!
Wow! Thank you Tony, We just had to look it up! The cheese cake looks amazing and probably a lot healthier, we excited to try and make it at some point 😋
That all looks amazing. Do you glaze your pastry? I either glaze my pastry with melted vegan butter with a little golden syrup for sweet pastries OR vegan mayonnaise works well on savoury pastries like your wellington.
Literally Christmas Day we forgot our dessert/Afters in the oven Apple pie and ice cream left out as family members fell asleep after dinner and ice cream melted after being left on the side to make it easier to scoop out
Coming live but not live from North London, long time viewer. My favourite things to cook in my air fryer are tofu coated in soy sauce, nooch and smoked paprika, potato wedges and brussel sprouts. Katie, I am just like you, i don't measure anything lol x
Hey Rebecca, how are you beautiful soul? We haven't heard from you in a while, we hope you are doing well!! 💚 That sounds absolutely delicious! Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't measure anything out 😂💚
@FamilyFreedom I am doing great. I am living with my partner and our 4 rescue dogs and 7 rescue rabbits. We have a loud , hairy house full of paw prints and full to the brim with love, I wouldn't have it any other way xxx
Hey Bob, I think the reason your Yorkshire puddings didn’t rise is because you were using leftover batter. Sometimes the rising agent will lose its rising ability after a few hours.
We actually tried a very simple version of it recently in our thanksgiving video. We would love to try again soon so please let us know if you have a recipe for it 💚😊💚
Hope you have a lovely festive season and happy new year!! Hope youre all doing welll! What are you having for your Christmas meal? Im having a mix of the vegan christmas range from asda and lidl!
Wow this looked amazing, please when putting your ingredients in the air fryer do not use your knife blade side on your board you will ruin your knife blade. Thanks for the lovely meal Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas 👍👏🎄🎄🎄🧑🍳👨🍳👨🍳🎁🇨🇦😋
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and for the tip about the knife, we really appreciate it! We’ll definitely keep that in mind for the future. 😊 So glad you enjoyed the meal, it means a lot to hear that! Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas filled with love, joy, and delicious food! 🎄🇨🇦🎄
Great going how do you make your yourkshire puds, I am not good at them do you leave the mix a day before using? How do you make a mix what do you use? Mine never rise well help
I haven't made there's 2 items Wellington ,& pig in blanket but have use it in sandwiches wraps ect & with most veg with cheese is very yummy just before adding cheese add caramelised onion relish would be good in vol-au-vents & other pastry dishes I think a lot of relishes, pickles, chutneys would be nice in a lots of pastry dishes too
OMGoodness! Looks delicious and I am not vegan. Can you tell me if it is possible to purchase ground “turkey” or sausage in vegan form? I know that they do ground beef but not sure about chicken or turkey. When I make homemade stuffing, I saute onions and celery, add ground herbed turkey sausage then pour over chunks of day old bread with spices and finish by moistening all with chicken/turkey broth. I bake in 13 x 9” in oven. I know you can use veg broth but would need the sausage or ground turkey. Can you please advise. Also, while you respond, could you throw a few of your mince pies and plum pudding over the pond to Canada!! lol
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts! We completely understand that everyone has their own idea of what makes a Christmas dinner special, and for us, it’s all about celebrating delicious, plant-based options in a fun and creative way. I cooked Merle O'Neal's Vegan Turkey, and her stuffing recipe is amazing.
Wouldn’t even give it to the dogs
Sounds amazing Tony! 😃

Have you tried making Sauce Stache's chickpea cheesecake?
I was sceptical, but I made it yesterday and it is amazing and relatively simple to make.
Wow! Thank you Tony, We just had to look it up! The cheese cake looks amazing and probably a lot healthier, we excited to try and make it at some point 😋
Great video bob Katie
Thank you 🤩 Glad you enjoyed it! 💚

Thanks for the tip Kay 🤗💚
Me and my family just cooked with an air fryer for over 3 years as our oven broke 😂 and we got used to it , now have both and it’s weird adapting

Do you glaze your pastry?
I either glaze my pastry with melted vegan butter with a little golden syrup for sweet pastries OR vegan mayonnaise works well on savoury pastries like your wellington.
