Good video on your JD model repairs. I have the SX85 version of this mower with the same plastic body panel set up and almost broken in same places Lol. My OE JD fuel valve leaked just like yours and yes, even on Amazon, that OE style valve is $40, going to do your reducer plan and rebuild my hose the same way you did. My SX85 has the BS 13hp engine so my fuel hose wraps opposite of yours. Your videos on this and the deck belt replacements are very helpful to me, you also seem very enthusiastic while you are rehabbing this mower; it’s a fun little hobby :-)
Thanks for the video, I just picked up a 2000 GX 85 with both side panels broken off. I also searched for a full replacement shroud and had a little sticker shock. I’ll use your method and hope mine turns out as good as yours. Thanks again.
Hi sir. I just bought John Deere sx75 ridding lawnmower for 50 bucks. Everything work but the parking break arm lever broke on it. Can you can you make video on how to put it on? For me sir please.
I no longer have the tractor, but I did manage to find some vids of me adjusting the brake and showing how the park brake works. Check it out, and maybe it will help you with your situation.
