Yeah nice. Love Snug Falls. It is one walk and falls I keep going back to. Different every time really. We did see a snake or two when we went in summer - right about where you standing for the third composition in close on the right side of the falls for one of those snakes! You did well seeing what was possible. I really enjoyed seeing a familiar place being explored and played with. As for which I like - it's a toss up between 2 and 4.
I’m a bit late, sorry! No. 5 really stands out to me, I love the way the foreground reflection mirrors the sunlit rocks in the top half. Fantastic job at combining all the strongly contrasting elements! 👍
You definitely inspire me to shoot my K1 more often. The images that camera makes are the closest to film (other than the K3 Monochrome) I've ever seen from a digital camera. If I can only remember what "Miyobi" and "Satobi" means... 🙂🙂
@@petemellows I think I noticed you shot the waterfalls with the portrait profile on. (Doesn't apply to anything if your only shooting raw though.) I tend to shoot Jpeg and raw, so the color profiles are fun to play with. And of course for previewing B&W.
Ha yes! I do use them for RAW+JPG for comparison and to give an indication of possible final product. Generally just Bright and Monochrome. I had to build my own styles in C1 to match. It’s very handy for a quick adjustments before diving in.

I guess that the benefit of Winter: no snakes!
@@petemellows absolutely!!!
Thanks again. Plenty of action happening behind you and seems like a popular spot at least that day.
Oh yes! It’s a very popular spot with families. I must have been there for 3-4 hours and was never once alone.
Thank you.

@@dawnmist2259 I’m glad you liked it. I am still undecided myself!

Thanks! You can tell Pentax and Ricoh are passionate about photography.
I keep forgetting about the colour profiles…
