My wife and I saw his exhibit in Honolulu more than twenty years ago and our experience of his work and the way he presented it has never left us. It was haunting in a fantastic way, utterly unique beauty that changes the way you see. What a gift!
... My favorite nature carvings are the jars on the plain of jars in the Golden Triangle. They are opium poppy pod shaved, and are mysteriously scattered randomly like poppies in a field.
