I stayed there in late September of last year actually, unfortunately my time in Glasgow was incredibly brief due to planned train strike action so I had to leave for London the following evening unfortunately. Anyway I'm a Rangers fan who managed to go on a tour of Ibrox park, I also got myself a few things from the club's newly refurbished Edmiston house etc. I'm a Londoner by birth whereas my late Mom was an American of Scottish origin who traced her ancestry on her American born Dad's side to Ayrshire. I'd been wanting to visit Scotland for as long as I can remember specifically Glasgow and G51 since I'm a Rangers fan and finally I got that opportunity just after my birthday in September of last year. Glasgow city centre could do with a bit of work though! say what you will about the SNP now, everybody reserves the right to their opinions and to disagree but the Tories well in my opinion most defiantly aren't the answer to Glasgow's problems, the Torie party has never really been all that popular in Scotland anyway, then there's Labor who look like an absolute joke right now. Anyway I'm currently in the U.S and will be over in the U.K sometime in March until the end of the year as my Sister and her English Husband are expecting their first child together then I'll return to the U.S, I had the best of both world's growing up(dual U.S/U.K citizen here). As for the Clayton my room was top notch and from my window I was within walking distance of not only the city centre and central station but the famous Barrowlands as well, the place has a great bar as well, subbing to you bro!
Hey, glad to hear you managed to visit Glasgow and enjoy what time you could. I have always found family history/history in general fascinating, there is so much history in Glasgow. I couldn’t fault The Clayton Hotel, it’s probably one of my favourite hotels as it ticks a lot things…value for money, location, facilities, and staff. Thank you for watching, commenting, and supporting my channel, it means a lot. Hope you have a great trip & time when you return to the UK 👍
That’s a great question! I don’t think I’ve covered enough to make a fair comment, outwith Disney & Universal/Loews Hotels (as they are all amazing IMO), I do like Radisson, for price Yotel are decent, I was impressed with Clayton. It’s a hard question to answer lol 😂, I have a lot of hotel content (amongst others) coming next year, so hopefully can compare more then. Do you have a favourite?

@@MacBlogs I love Radisson and the Marriot. For value, I don't mind a Premier Inn. I will be trying the Novotel this weekend.
