I was playing Lifeline one match and I had my mic on but I really wasn’t saying much. I was with a Wraith and a Bangalore. When I downed a couple of people on the other team and died because I had a level one shield that broke and I got lit up, I spectated Wraith since she was unaware of the last enemy that was near her so I simply said, “hey, they’re right behind you and their shield is broken, you got this!” She listened to me and was able to get them since I pointed it out for her with the mic. I go, “yaaah good stuff!” Then the Wraith proceeds to loot and our Bangalore gets downed in combat by another team-while Wraith continues to loot and hasn’t healed. “Hey uh just letting you know there are 2 people in front of you, get out of there with the portal and heal if you can then you can get our banners” I said calmly and then this chica turned her mic on and very bitchily said, “if you don’t shut the fuck up, you’re getting muted.” ‘ ____ ‘ ...*My look* ... “Really?? Okay then. Have fun on your own.” And I disconnected. Bangalore disconnected as well when she said that to me and the Bangalore invited me to another game 😂 I don’t play this game with people that don’t know how to behave like adults. If you don’t want me to talk, say so. “I can’t focus, could you please turn your mic off?” Or just mute me without saying anything and I’ll get the hint. It’s that simple. No need to be rude to people who wanna play and get wins.

Surprising to hear about negative experiences playing apex from others because when I do most of the people (I'm 13) are cool. It's great to have experienced such a positive community
My friends don’t play apex so I’m stuck with randos. Maybe 1/30 matches I’ll get a good team where they help out and they’re nice even with their mic’s on. But everyone else just leaves as soon as they’re knocked down or they talk shit even after I revive or respawn them. Goals is to be a good enough solo like Jankz😭
PC could help you. I don't do Apex on PC, but when you have a chance to control your own sensitivity better, it makes a huge difference in skill. The only downfall is the skill of other players as well. Lots and lots of Twitch Bitches do PC.
I play with fairly high sensitivity and it helps a lot, generally you want to get used to holding the stick slightly down whenever you are firing, (I recommend kontrol freaks but they aren't a necesity) keep in mind that all automatic weapons (including prowler with select fire) have a zig zag type of recoil, you can practice in firing range to get used to when you should counter act the zig zag recoil
*semi related, but you should watch some movement guides on youtube, sometimes knowing how to move well is difference between winning or losing a fight, even if the other player has better aim then you, examples of what you should look up are wall jumps, wall slides, zipline movement, bunny hoping, strafing, crouch spamming, a lot of these are more useful for disengaging from a fight
I played apex when it launched and mysteriously i lost intrest. Couple months go by and i was constantly playing overwatch , dead by daylight, and fortnite. Fortnite as of late isnt intresting anymore. Me nd my squad on ps4 decided to hop on apex and its the best choice to make. It has a feel to it that fortnite lacked and what black ops doesnt have. I just recently killed a squad on my own, 8 solo kills total in one match and in the same match i won champion! Its been a week in and im addicted to this game.
No cap, really same I was a Fortnite god and had a stacked rare account both the game killed itself with the weapons so I quit, ppl still ask me, why u had good skins, I don’t care about skins it’s more the fun in the game which lacked more and more each season, they tried to make their game better but instead killed it so I feel u man I played apex when it launched quit now play it again and already have 14 wins in season 2 love octane btw sorry I don’t play on ps4 , xbox is TTV Explicity

My friends don’t play apex so I’m stuck with randos. Maybe 1/30 matches I’ll get a good team where they help out and they’re nice even with their mic’s on. But everyone else just leaves as soon as they’re knocked down or they talk shit even after I revive or respawn them. Goals is to be a good enough solo like Jankz😭

PC could help you. I don't do Apex on PC, but when you have a chance to control your own sensitivity better, it makes a huge difference in skill. The only downfall is the skill of other players as well. Lots and lots of Twitch Bitches do PC.
I play with fairly high sensitivity and it helps a lot, generally you want to get used to holding the stick slightly down whenever you are firing, (I recommend kontrol freaks but they aren't a necesity) keep in mind that all automatic weapons (including prowler with select fire) have a zig zag type of recoil, you can practice in firing range to get used to when you should counter act the zig zag recoil
*semi related, but you should watch some movement guides on youtube, sometimes knowing how to move well is difference between winning or losing a fight, even if the other player has better aim then you, examples of what you should look up are wall jumps, wall slides, zipline movement, bunny hoping, strafing, crouch spamming, a lot of these are more useful for disengaging from a fight

I played apex when it launched and mysteriously i lost intrest. Couple months go by and i was constantly playing overwatch , dead by daylight, and fortnite. Fortnite as of late isnt intresting anymore. Me nd my squad on ps4 decided to hop on apex and its the best choice to make. It has a feel to it that fortnite lacked and what black ops doesnt have. I just recently killed a squad on my own, 8 solo kills total in one match and in the same match i won champion! Its been a week in and im addicted to this game.
