    Sounds great!!! Love that it’s not overly loud in the car top up or down.

      Thanks man! I only do it when I know I’ll be spending a lot of time under the car. Someone on one of my older videos commentednted saying she found her husband pinned under the car when she got home. I still can’t seem to shake off that fear so it’s better to be safe.

    Great video!
    I’m looking for an oem plus dual exit exhaust. This one seems to fit the bill. Now that you’ve had it a while and it’s broken in. Would you recommend this exhaust? Did you add a test pipe and or cold air intake?

    • @ronfromportland
      @ronfromportland  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks! Yes, I’m still happy with the exhaust. Sounds good every time you get on it. No test pipe but I did add a AFE Takeda Intake which opened it up a bit!

    Great video. I just ordered this for my AP1. You sealed it for me towards the end! Just a little advice: You may want to blur out your speedometer. It doesn't add to the video and it only exposes you to Karens.

      Thanks man, you’ll love it! Yeah, I always worry about the speedometer being exposed. Luckily I didn’t go over 40 😃

      Yeah, it took a lot of adjustments but it’s as even as it’s gonna get. I had to use some aftermarket exhaust hangers in combination of the stock ones. S2000 Exhaust Hangers: amzn.to/3WtGu1W

    How is the decel resonance on this? I have an HKS dual and it’s so loud on decel it vibrates my brain. Looking to get rid of that. Drone is pretty livable?

    • @ronfromportland
      @ronfromportland  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It got a little louder as I predicted. The drone is there but it’s definitely livable. I looked at the HKS too but reading about how loud it was deterred me from getting it. Still happy with my choice.

    Does your 5000tlx work on the s2000?

    • @ronfromportland
      @ronfromportland  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I used the 5000tlx to lift the s2000 in this video but I’m going to say no since I found out I was lifting it not at the lift points. The 5000tlx is too long. It works if you remove the back wheels and jack up the rear before lifting with the quick jacks. It’s a hassle though.

    • @Winrichly
      @Winrichly 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ronfromportland thanks for the quick reply! I'm having that exact same issue since I was trying to buy a quickjack to accommodate both my s2000 and model 3. In retrospect, I probably should have gone with the 5000TL and get extension frames.

    • @ronfromportland
      @ronfromportland  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Winrichly ah yeah, so you feel my pain. I even tried lifting the s2000 sideways (parallel to the f/r) and it wouldn’t lift properly so I gave up!

    Were you able to adjust the tips? If so, how?

    • @ronfromportland
      @ronfromportland  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah, I had to use different exhaust hangers. It took a while to adjust and it’s not perfect but it looks better than how it was right after installing amzn.to/3TLFJRg

    I'm in the same boat want something slightly louder than oem.

    • @ronfromportland
      @ronfromportland  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ronfromportlandtwo more questions. Would you have chosen the Fujitsubo exhaust over this one? If so why?
      I quite like the exhaust note on the revel!
      Did you ever get the exhaust pipes to hang evenly?

    • @ronfromportland
      @ronfromportland  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@frorider007 yes, only because it seems quieter than the Revel. I can’t confirm though since I haven’t heard it in person. Fujitsubo was always my first choice. The price difference between the two was pretty significant.
      The exhaust tips are pretty even now. I had to use some aftermarket exhaust hangers in addition to the OEM hangers to get them even. Took a few hours but it was worth it. amzn.to/3S2mbXf

      @@ronfromportland Hey bud, I purchased a Revel Medallion exhaust for my Lexus GS350 (I know it's a different cat, different engine). I haven't driven it much yet, but I've noticed that at low RPMs (under 2200) there is some annoying drone. Did you ever experience that? Did the sound change in any way after the so called break in period ?
