⚠07:21 si vos usás el "método del papelito", lo debés hacer con la herramienta girando (con muchísimo cuidado) de tal manera de no errar en la ortogonalidad de la tangencia con la hélice de la fresa...¿me explico? Donde vos considerás que "está tangente" es muy probable que no lo esté.... a tener en cuenta ese detalle.

What's the purpose of the painted arrow on the chuck? You use only 1 of 3 screws to tight the chock?

The mark on the chuck is the tightening point where the most precision is achieved.
I use it by tightening only this one place.

The second side milling you did, did not end up with a curved surface like the second one. How is that possible?
The last image in this video shows a 15cm ruler which looks much nicer than my Toledo one. Well designed it is.
Where would I purchase one or more of these? The supplier would have to be able to export to New Zealand.

The last ruler that appears is a ruler called CU-15KD made by a Japanese manufacturer called Niigata Seiki.
I purchased it from Amazon in Japan.
