Oof the old games are classic!! I grew up playing with them as a kid in the 90’s. Still obviously obsessed with MK! I waited so long to get my hands on a newer version of MK. I’m enjoying MK 11 ultimate!! Brings back a lot of memories from my childhood!
If you think back to mk4 it actually makes sense that Johnny Cage can beat shinnok. In mk3 Johnny dies. In mk4 Johnny returns from the dead. Why? Cause the elder God's revive him. At the time it was just a way to make the character playable again, but it kinda has a reason now that we know Johnny's heritage. It's like they knew what they were doing even when they had no idea.

Liu Kang is boring, he’s just the “chosen one” Shaolin monk. Scorpion and Sub Zero and their rivalry/backstory with quan chi making scorpion think sub zero killed his family and all that is a much more enjoyable story

Mortal Kombat story in MKX/ MK10 was pretty bad. It was a story about family and coming of age the was presented in such a Cringeworthy way. Mortal Kombat 9 had a way better campaign.
What about the realm of Order and Chaos? And isnt Outworld a combination of other conquered realms? Based on my understanding...there are likely plenty more than 6 realms the series has talked about.
I do so hope that some of the revenant fighters can come back to Earth realm once more, like Kung Lao (though it was during the adventure mode, and I don't think that would be canon, especially since Jax/Erron Black would be dead, and Takahashi Takeda and his father making a new friend) *edit: But who really know

I played those games so much and got to play MK4 on playstation with my cousins (I never owned a modern console to play any of the newer MK versions after MK 3). I recently got a switch and got aftermath and then the ultimate dlc. I love it so much! My childhood!!!
I like MK 9 it had a cool concept of changing things to the main storyline and what some of the outcomes would be, cyborg subzero, Kung Lao dying in the second tournament, etc. The new generation of MK is really fun to get into

Becoming the conqueror of realms. The Elite Warriors Of Edenia will not only manipulate Raiden but defeat him as well. See Shinnok is right and Raiden knows this. But he must fight. He must destroy. Or everything everywhere ends forever. At least that’s what he’s telling himself right now.
