    India and Pakistan had made an agreement in Kargil that during winter, the armies of both the countries would leave their posts and return so that the soldiers of both the countries would not die due to cold nor would they capture each other's post after leaving the post. do, but as Pakistan broke the agreement and capture the main points in Kargil

      Well, The dark side of the LOC Kargil was that Indian Airforce didn't have Laser Guided Missile and Laser Guided Bomb, that's the reason behind, why INDIAN ARMY has to Climb the Mountains and Terrain in Kargil and have to bear Lots of Causalities from Indian side.
      If INDIA would Indigenously Develop Laser Guided Bomb and Laser Guided Missile on its own, there was literally no need for INDIAN ARMY to Climb 15,000 Ft to Neutralize the Enemy.
      It was a Suicide Mission for Indian Army.
      And What more Surprising was that ISRO literally Shut-off their Satellites, at the same time when Pakistanis Infiltrated Various Indian Bunkers and Post.

    Air support doesn’t work at 13000 ft also . Aircraft engines can’t carry have loads … those places are so harsh in winter temperatures drops around -30 so army left their post in winter and Pakistani army came in right before summer before army can return back .. there were few restrictions put in place by government .. there much more that meets the eye .. you should watch movie call Shersshaah

    Indian movies have a lot of musicals, all those music's and songs are for the civilians to make them realise the men and women who defend a nation come from the same society and nation we live. And brings connect for many civilians for our defence forces. India never attacked anyone from centuries but was always attacked and defending it since ages. Our soldiers our our biggest pride. Many men go to army bcoz its tradition and thier families take pride in india. I must tell this is highest civilian award from all citizens off India is respect for our forces. Jai hind. 🇮🇳 🇮🇳🇮🇳 thier a song of nda passing out parade, I quote
    Bhagwa safed hara, jeewan chakra mera. That means the tricolor is what I have vowed for my life onn. Jai hind. And respects for all my country men/ women who served the nation for protecting it.

      With all due respect...please don't watch that movie if you're just going to complain how the flashback or the music is not at the right section of the movie or how it doesn't suit the movie. I UNDERSTAND and you may be even right, but the movies are about emotions and NOT the right music placement. Watch to enjoy it not analyze it.

  • @tejaskadam_
    @tejaskadam_ 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

    This movie has encapsulated all the Kargil war heroes so the flashbacks and soldier interactions were important. It was necessary to pay homage to every soldier and their backgrounds. Given the number of soldiers, the director did a fine job to not make everyone's flashback monotonous.
    The songs in this movie hit real hard if you understand the language or pay attention to the lyrics. Yes the songs are a lot longer than usual but they do the job to elevate your emotions and the lyrics perfectly describe the ongoing section of the movie.

    • @el_scribbler
      @el_scribbler  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I don't know about elevating the emotions with the songs. The movie starts with fallen soldiers. There is nothing more emotional than that. For me the songs felt like it was trying to bring in a happy moment when this situation was not happy Even the victory at the end the way the soldiers charged at the retreating force just proves that it was not happy victory.

    So, Topographically " The Kargil and The Siachen Glacier region " is the highest warzone on our planet Kargil(Tiger Hill)at 5,062 mtrs and Siachen at 5,400 mtrs which makes it almost impossible for any aircraft or anything with an engine to work properly which is why air-support was only used for troop deployments or evacs only IAF today has specially prepared heli's to operate that region, also there weren't a lor of Air strips present near the region to utilize other than today ^_^ . And, during the winters temperatures go down to upto -50C or -58F so since 1947-Kargil War there was a treaty between India and Pakistan to not guard this part of the border during winters back then and the borders used to be empty, but on the 3rd of May 1999 when the Indian troops were redeployed to the Kargil they(Indian troops) didn't know that Pakistan had broken the treaty and deployed their men before the "set date of redeployment in the treaty" which is why Pakistani's had the higher ground but Indians knew their side of the topography better with a pinch of Jazba and reconquered their posts and the region. Today many top platoons like USMC and Delta forces or SAS and others usually come to train in High altitude Warfare from the Indian Armed Forces for a few months every now and then where they are trained on the Siachen Glacier particularly to adapt to the most brutal environment ever. You should check our Col.Rajeev"s podcast on Kargil whenever you can it is just mind-blowing just to comprehend the brutality these men go through. And. tbh the IAF operating in the temperatures ranging from 50degreecelcius to -50degreecelcius or from hot deserts to the sundarban delta and the rainforests of India is enough to acknowledge how freaking tough these men are inside and outside. But, on a personal note the most dangerous ones are the ones with tribal people, 'cause there are stories of Naga Regiment soldiers(one of the youngest regiments of IAF and consists of 50% Naga tribals and 50% Kumaun, Garhwal"my tribe" and Gorkha regiments they are also feared by the name of The Head Hunters between Militaries across the world ) cooking and feeding on parts of the Pakistani guy being tortured watching them cut him open then cook his leg and eat it in front of him while being tortured in Pakistan's territory which sounds scaryAF and which is where the myths come from and even the Chinese are scared of them on their front.

    Brother you said in 44 min that how can you take them by surprise from back of mountain when you already attacked them from front, so that is because Pakistani never expected that Indian will come from back of mountain because it was not possible to climb that mountain from back but our heroes climbed that and not even climbed that thy fought there very bravely and only one soldier was left alive(barely) who is our one of living legend param vir chakar(highest gallantry award during war) Subedar major Yogendra Singh Yadav whoes role is played by family man as you say..
    There are so many things about this war that you can not understand by just watching a movie(and which is not in your language).
    While you are watching this movie and by watching your reactions i really feel that i can tell you more about that so you can really understand what there happened.
    And one more thing you said that how they captured such strategic points so answer for that is before 1999 India and pak has an understanding that during winters boht will bring back there troops from the mountain peaks because weather is very harsh to service there but that was a mistake which cost us so many lives of our soilders.

      Yeah, cross a fallen soldier no matter what, we'll always be impactful. The flashbacks and music felt like it was trying to make it more happy and peaceful. The story is all about the loss of life that the soldiers sacrificed. If we want to learn about the families that's when each character gets their own movie

    America was supporting Pakistan before the Kargil war. Not crossing the LOC by India turn the tables for the world which showed that Pakistan was the initiator of the war. America post which decided to side with the 'right' side. Hence, the India-US partnership today.

    There is a Deep Rotten Corruption going in Indian Legislatives, Executives and Judiciary .

    Man, first study on your videos or movies here you said we are mounting for an attack behind the enemy line but actually we were just defending our positions..... But we were denied the permission to cross the LOC by our PM...... That's why we couldn't encircle the entire division of "Pakistani northern light infantry" and a simple conflict became a War.......
