Played the JVM live for years, never used a gate. Just used my tuner to mute between songs. Blending the amps sounded great. JVM also blends well with the OG 5150. Always nice to see the JVM still standing after all these years.
Same here that I don't use a noise gate with the JVM. I use either the volume control on the guitar or my true bypass korg tuner that I have infront of the amp.
Absolutely amazing comparison. Thanks for all the hard work. The MT100 sounds more modern, more in your face, but colder (if that makes sense) The JVM410H sounds warmer, looser, less gain, but more versatile, and sounds especially good with the 1960A cab. Great point on the noise gate with the 410H as well. One can definitely benefit from owning both. 🤟
You may have gotten the requests due to Stay Metal Ray doing the exact same comparison when the MT100 came out. His JVM is the only amp he owns, so that’s why he compared them.
Is that "Happy Guy with Moustache"? If it's the same guy he's a great player from what I remember. I put out a poll on which amp to do the Comparison with and it was unanimously the JVM. Once I listed it as an option people kept suggesting and asking for it haha. Cheers -Ryan
Both my Dual Rectifier and my Road King are down at the moment. Both are issues for a tech to resolve rather than just tube related. I will eventually do comparisons once they have been revived. Cheers -Ryan
These riffs are so tight. Subscribed 🫡

Cool video, nice production and tones. Thanks for taking the time to make this content. Clean playing too!
The gold came out awesome in this vid!
Haha! God bless AI colour correction! Cheers -Ryan
That jvm with the Mesa cab is 🔥
The Marshall 100%, just cause it would definitely stand out more in a live mix. More attack and brightness.

I use a1960b.
That Marshall though! Has the right amount of brightness and grunt
Always great playing... KiCkinG man !
The JVM always sounds great. The MT100 is growing on me.

Insane riffage 😮
Nice video, what happened with the TRicrow channel?
The content is still here but we changed the name a little over a year ago. Cheers -Ryan
You need to find a Genz Benz Eldiablo 100. You will go nuts on that head.
Have you compared it to a dual rec?
Also have you tried a Bad Cat Lynx ?

The mesa cab destroys all of them
