우리는 기름진 음식을 좋아해요
We like greasy food
바로 전날에 술을 진탕 퍼마시고 나면
When we’ve been drinking the night before
다음날에는 기름진 음식이 땡기죠
We like to eat greasy food the next day
아아 그럴 때 배에 기름칠 하는 게 너무 좋아

영국식 찬데요
This is a British tea
원래는 인도에서 오는 건데
It actually comes from India originally
우리는 이걸 하루 종일 마시거든요
But we drink this every day, all day
제 거는 홍차에 우유 좀 탄 거고요
And it’s black tea with some milk
좀 더 달콤한 걸 원하시면 설탕을 넣으셔도 돼요
And if you want it a bit sweeter you can add sugar
난 설탕 안 넣지만

나 어릴 때까지만 하더라도 다 커피였는데
When I was growing up it was always called a coffee
언제는 우리 헤드 셰프가 전화로 우리 레스토랑 바로 전화를 하더니
And then one day I heard my head chef shouting on the phone to the bar
막 “아메리카노 한 잔” 소리를 지르더라고
He was like “ONE AMERICANO”
아메리카노라는 게, 원래는
Americano, is basically because originally
그냥 에스프레소였거든
They used to be espressos
왜 그 작은 잔에 샷 하나 들어간 거 있잖아
So it would be just one shot, wouldn’t it
그런데 미국사람들 입맛에는 그게 너무 쓴 거야
But then like Americans couldn’t drink it because it was too strong for them
그래서 아메리칸들이 물을 더해서 마셨더니 그게 아메리카노가 된 거지
So they added water to it and then they called it an Americano
아 그냥..
That’s just..
난 그냥 커피라고 부를래
