Let it be known that since Alpharad never finished his KH3 LP, he, like Mickey, left Aqua to die in the realm of darkness. And he’s said that she’s his favorite character.

Which is a shame because I’d think he would really like everything following this world + remind. He wanted Donald to die and that happens in the most awesome way, save Aqua, fight Disney bosses which are ironically in the last Disney worlds he didn’t get to (also who wouldn’t like watching Sora throw fists at Davy). Kingdom Hearts always had this problem where the worlds and story start off super weak until the last few and that’s what makes people lose their interest with EVERY single game and not complete it.

@@waterlemonandfriends He also said himself in his second or third episode that the Disney worlds don’t really add to the original plot yet he still complains about how every world is a retelling of the movie and let it ruin his fun. Just push through until you reach the original stuff. It has been this way since KH1.
@@TimmysohnLP Nope... I replayed KH1 Final Mix recently. Sora and the gang were WAY more involved and it wasn't an exact re-telling of the movies. They differ just enough. Aladdin and Tarzan was the only two that was the closest to being like the movie and it really wasn't.
KH3 with some of the Disney movies were 90% a 1-to-1 retelling with Sora and the gang NOT being that involved. Frozen and the Pirate worlds being the worst offenders here.
Sadly, that is mostly on Disney's fault as they didn't want anything to happen to their precious Elsa and have become more strict with their IPs. Honestly, the original concept of Frozen of fighting a Heartless Castle and a Dark Elsa trying to free her from her own darkness sounded better.

It wasn't just him. HMK also had the same thought that Elsa should have entered the darkness because the deer heartless stood by her as if awaiting for a command, similar to Maleficent.

@Ivore Surkuri they actually did something with the Toy Story world and it was pretty cool
Here is a bit of context to explain why this was the case. When Frozen was being implemented into KH3, Disney basically set EXTREMELY strict guidelines on what could and couldn't be done with the world. One of those caveats was not being able to alter the original movie plot in any way to integrate Sora more into it. Hell, Disney even refused to give any of the 3D models used from the movies so the KH team could use them as references when making the ingame models. Long story short, they had to settle for Sora having his own story while the canonical events of the Frozen movie were taking place.

@@kiryukanzaki1141 I was told that pixar was also just as strict and they wrote the stories for there world and the actual devs didn't have much say =b it's probably why you never actually fight the main villians throughout the Disney world as they just fade away or get yeeted through 5 portal doors.
BTW: the big snowman is canonically named Marshmallow, and he was in the movie.

He traverses worlds to reach hearts and save his friends, but in turn damned himself to stop existing due to using it incorrectly.

My other favorite parts are when Marshmallow tries to protect Elsa and when Anna froze for no given reason

I honestly have to give Kingdom Hearts a personal 6/10, I hate to do that since I grew up with the series but I don't let rose tinted goggles cover my eyes from the many flaws of this game
Also I just want to point out the jerking off Disney was doing when they had Sora be so amazed by the Let It Go sequence when he's seen much grander spectacles of wonder and barely commented on them

As someone who has a REALLY soft spot for important Ice/Winter-based stages in video games, it angers me on just how much of a "worthless filler stage" Arendelle is in Kingdom Hearts III.
But that boss fight was the coolest thing ever
It's marginally less worthless then Tangled World, for what that's worth. At least here, we get to watch Sora attempt to deal with the fact that he's not even remotely the main character here, which is something that he's never really had to deal with before. Pity they didn't do more with it, but it's a new theme nonetheless.
Which is a heck of a lot more then what I can say for Tangled World.

It was never really a super big part. They only ever showed up in 2 worlds and those worlds arent even in every game
They weren’t really a big part. They were just helpers and cameos. They were never actually significant to the story.
They barely had any presence in the first place.

none of Sora's magic was/is on the same scale as Elsa, who's basically a Green Lantern but with Ice. The only thing he has going for him is offensive variety
Even in Chain of Memories and 3D his ultimate magic skills (Holy, Tornado, Zero Graviza, Mega Flare etc.) don't really compare in physical size, scale and control compared to being able to build a fucking fractal castle, or change the local climate of few thousand square km area in seconds.

@@RobotnikPlngas meteors the size of regular rocks, that rain in only a couple of square meters. That's basically baby magic in what was shown throghout the entire series, and that's partly because they almost never do Sora's post KH1 magic ability justice. I also think the game is nonsense (so is the rest of the series) but I'm not going to argue in bad faith either because that's an objectively shit way to discredit things lol.

Fun fact! Notice how the Organization actually seem to *prevent* messing with the story more than messing with it themselves? Such as when Marluxia knocked Sora out for like 8 hours or when he had the horde of Heartless/Nobodies force them to let Flynn go alone so the world could movie time? Or perhaps when Larxine traps the trio in an ice prison that she can expertly make with her electricity powers? That's probably the basis right there as they seem to try and keep world order better than Sora Donald and Goofy, which Donald reminded us about enough to get on my nerves =D

actually, KH3 was being built while Frozen was still in development. In the original Frozen script, Elsa was supposed to be the bad guy. That's why it doesn't seem right when Hans turns into the wolf. Hans says he came from a hotter region, it wouldn't make sense for him to turn into an *ICE* wolf.
