    Thank you for your comment, "Once you line up with how things work it opens massive opportunities and new information," because it also applies to life in general too. Great tutorial! Thanks Chris.

      That's my big secret, just using music as a metaphor for life...it gets really easy to understand that way.

    It's so simple! I was analyzing the different triad inversions for the bar chord format of A, literally trying to picture the inversions as dissected parts of the whole chord, knowing there was an easier way to "picture" them....but they way you explained.... just had a forehead slapping moment.

    Some great fills inside progressions and great progressions lead to this. Nice lesson. Recently you walked us through the triads on the entire neck. Now the specific inversions of them. Wait, are you teaching us this in order on purpose?
    Thanks Chris.
    Never miss a lesson.

    This TH-cam channel, and the man behind these lessons, is the reason I am no longer afraid of the guitar.
    I can now wander freely amongst frets and strings, and no longer feel totally lost. I have so much to learn still, but I thank you Chris for literally switching the lightbulb over the fretboard for me.

    Excellent content. Really well thought-out instruction.
    I would really like to know your thoughts on internalising the various intervalic tensions without permanently relying on, for example, The Jaws Theme - ascending minor 2nd/Joy to the World - descending minor 2nd. If you have paid instruction on this, then I’d be more than happy to cough up the cash. All the best, good sir.

    • @curiousguitarist
      @curiousguitarist  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mike,
      I don't have anything specifically like that about intervals, but what I will say, is that using them has been, for me, the most enduring way to internalize them.
      When I learned 6ths for example, I wrote two etudes right away to help "cement" them into my fingers, ears and brain. Without exception that method burns them in.

    • @Mike-rw2nh
      @Mike-rw2nh 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. It may seem silly to anyone who has only ever known TH-cam free content, but I kinda feel guilty having access to all this top-notch advice without paying a penny. I’ll do as you suggest. I really, really appreciate the help. Thank you.

I'm not meaning to rain on your parade,but simply trying to give my own constructive opinion.
