@@microwave1000 well small correction, they started yelling it after they saw him unrelentingly push against the demonic hordes even when they were sure all hope was lost when a titan invaded Taras Nabad, watching as he threw himself against the demons again and again and pushed along with him, and when the seraphim grabbed our boi and gave him essentially godhood and they witnessed him bring down a titan? Imagine marines from Halo seeing Master chief but ×10, they worshipped the slayer and the slayer was given what was essentially a kingship alongside King Novik, but the slayer was a warrior king. Fucking amped
@@stealthbrawler this is one of the best things I’ve ever read on doom’s community Also I wanted to add that in the unreleased track, Kar En Tuk by Mick When you put down all of the chants together you get “Te slaven Ben Kar en tuk du tae exunt” Which translates to “The slayer will rip and tear to the death” Te = The Slaven = Slayer Ben = Will Kar = Rip En = And Tuk = Tear Du = To Tae = The Exunt = Death
World Spear rose to my all time favorite Doom song. The chanting, the low guitars, the heavy drums, everything just makes this song fucking amazing to me. It elevates the level to another level.
@@abowl1735 honestly, this may be blasphemy, but that’s the best part about it. This whole level doesn’t really feel like Doom. It’s just a genuinely beautiful level with an incredible soundtrack. And the cutscene of the Torch of Kings being lit as it pans out and shows survivors of the Demonic invasion is so badass. Kickass cutscenes, a genuinely gorgeous setting for a level, a mix of open and close quarters arenas, amazing music. Such a great start to the second DLC
This makes for a good recovery song for coming back to the gym after a bad cold. Nothing like subtlety rising up to rip and tear again with the Argenta chanting you on.

I mean, first, Doom 2016 was to me the peak of shooters, than Eternal came out and destroyed 2016(still amazing game, but for different reasons). Than, after Mick left Doom, I expected to be disappointed, but when Hulshult was announced as composer I felt at ease, and knew he would do a good job. TAG 1 came out, and the soundtrack was fucking amazing, both Hulshult and Levy rose to Mick's level and I didn't think it was possible(just play Blood Swamps and you will hear 2 of the best tracks in the franchise, Trials of Maligog and the main Battle theme for the swamps). Then, again I said to myself "wow, the TAG 2 soundtrack will be just as good as the last one". BOOM. TAG 2 comes out and surpasses the already high expectations I had. Immora, World Spear, Reclaimed Earth, all are just fucking amazing. And to give massive credit to mister Levy as well, I knew Hulshult from Dusk, but I didn't know David's work, and Doom just fit like a glove for him. What I like about the DLCS is that while sounding different, they are still DOOM. David, Andrew and Mick all have distinct styles and each has created Doom through sound. Hulshult has the best riffs in the franchise, David has the most melodic songs and Mick just brings sheer intensity. I have full confidence in the future of ID, because they have proved to be master class developers that know their projects and know who to get for the job.

As this was more of a request that I made and uploaded quickly I didn't really think people would pay that much attention to it so I didn't include a download. That was a bad decision on my part but you can use an online downloader if you want to have it on you. I would render the mix as an mp3 if I had the files still but I deleted the save for my editing software shortly after uploading this, so I wouldn't be able to provide any noticeable higher quality than those online dowloaders, sorry. The Blood Swamps were actually full of the hell choir, which is why I like that level's music so much
