Hey Rainbolt, if you ever run out of tourney ideas, maybe consider "The 1000km Limit": - 4 vs 4, no move, on a tough, bate-y map - 30 second rounds via donsus antarctica guess - if your guess is 1000km (or more) away from the right spot, you are eliminated from this match and can not guess and can't be active in team coms anymore, until next match. If two or more players from one team guess 1000km+ away in the same round, only the worst guessing player per team gets eliminated. So only one elim per team per round. If one team is down to a single player, this player can not get eliminated. - the idea is to make teams adjust their hedging strategies every round, based on the specific situation and to create some tough scenarios regarding who hedges where - maybe each team gets monitored by one caster, who shouts out the elim to the teams and viewers in between rounds. If a team can 5k in one round, this team receives one more player-coach bonus round, usable for the same match only. If a captain guesses although the teams player-coach guess has been used and no 5k-bonus-guess is available, this team lost the match. Would love to see this one someday. Thank you for doing these, please keep em coming
I like how you get to pick someone on the losing team to join you, but I think it should be based on performance on that round. Whoever on the losing team had more guesses that were closest gets to join the winning team.
Makes sense from a "fairness" standpoint, but allowing them to choose anyone allows for better strategy. Say for example one of the players on the other team compliments the current players better (maybe that player is very good at russia or smth, and the players on the team are bad at russia), but guessed further away that one round, the team would still want that player.
That would make people compete within their teams rather than work together. Like, instead of hedging, people might guess in the same spot just to be the top achiever. A lot of the time, the best person in the team isn't the one who is closest, but the one with the best callouts
I'm not too familiar with the game is that you editing out small portions of the guess times to make the video shorter or when people guess they reduce the timer ? If it's you then nice work you're doing a lot lol
You could either do it where both the pro and the novice get a guess, or you can have it where the novice screen shares and then the pro would have to guide the novice on where to pin.
