SHAD FISHING JUNE 2024

Took the kids out to the American River to do some shad fishing and cool down. The shads are still hitting really hard. I was a bit surprised on how many we caught considering it is almost July. Kids enjoyed the water and fishing.

Nice catch! Which part of American river? I live in Bay area, I went up last week but not successful, would you mind if I ask exact location? I might last one more trip. Thanks!

Up toward sunrise, I was at Hoffman park. But anywhere up there should still be on fire.
