Awesome video! Another aerospace student from delft here who appreciates your videos :) If I can give a small tip; presenting slightly more calmly for the second guy would lead to an even better flow of information. But that's a small nitpick to a really great video, thanks for sharing!
Thank You for the video, had great visuals and clear explanations. Subscribed please make more videos as I am now a fan of you two intelligent brothers.
why cant information transfer happen faster than the speed of sound ? my question is what causes the air particles to collide with each other and cause shock waves.
I hope this question reaches you. Please explain why glass shuttered in the recent blast in Beirut. I understand it is a result of shock wave, but how did it travel so far from such a small area? Was it like a strong wind that swept through the city and did it make the surroundings hotter? My mind can't comprehend the chaos caused by shock waves.
The bigger the explosion the more of those particles they mentioned are moving outward at the speed of sound. The big explosion at Beirut gave more than enough force and momentum to send the particles quite far and fast. So that force is what made am the Windows bust
Hey, good to know that you want to know more about airfoils. We don't want to keep you waiting, so here is a link to a good video: th-cam.com/video/PF22LM8AbII/w-d-xo.html
So, a shock wave is created whenever mach 1 speed is reached, right? If that is correct then in a cd nozzle there should always be a shock wave at the throat, but that is not the case. So can you explain why I'm wrong and maybe explain it in detail or share some resources please. Thank you.
Thanks guys gave me alot of good info! Much appreciated! I was curious, what if you covered the plane in groves like a golf ball. Would the change the outcome when reaching high velocities such as mach 1? What do you think?
Please tell me any book that I can start with to understand And who are you (occupation and profesion) you seems really intelligent person, I would like to get in touch with you If you allow and follow your footsteps. If not possible to get in touch give me guidence how can I achieve same level as you are
I'm doing my aerospace engineering now, and your videos are really good. I have a suggestion for u guys. Why can't u come up with a WhatsApp group, so that students like me can ask their doubts. Eagerly waiting to ask some doubts. Hope u create it 😀.
The only two indians I'm willing to fully listen to wihout any breaks. The other indians want to inform me that I have viruses on my computer that they can fix.

I genuinely feel this video deserves way more views and likes. My fluid mechanics faculty made it so complicated back then 😂
It was complicated back then because it is still complicated back now.
this videos deserve millions sure!\
You guys made this concept so much easier to comprehend! Great video.
That’s a great concept explained with simplicity. Great work!!
Thanks Abhirav!
You guys are great! Revising for my Compressible Flow midterm and this really helped.
a what now?
How’d you do? I’m boutta have my first exam tomorrow
@@philmybutup4759 got an A! Compressible flow is a pretty focused class so you should be good
@@anuraghun oh nice congrats! I feel pretty good about the exam tmw since it’s not much new stuff. Just scared the teacher will throw a curveball lol
@@philmybutup4759 haha yeah I feel you, good luck anyhow! You got this
came across this video while researching shockwaves. Subbed immediately
Have to study interstellar shockwaves , thank you for explaining about shock waves
yes, we know beirut
I`m in shock with how good this explanation is; thank uuuuu
On point guys! Should be clear to those who don't have the necessary background.
Thanks Prayash !
THANK YOU. This is so helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Best explanation I had ever heard regarding shockwaves
This was explained so well!!!! Plus both of your enthusiasm and lovely smiles make it more fun to learn :)
The traffic flow concept is an easy thing to make it more understandable

haven't even started watching and I already know I am going to like this.
Great video. Could you make a video differentiating sound waves and shock waves?
It's a good explanation of Oblique Shockwaves. I want to know more about Normal and Bow shockwaves though
Thank you for the lesson, love how cheerful you guys are!
Amazing video guys!!!
Thanks, guys! Cool video!
Really useful videos for engineering students ✌
Very well and interestingly explained
Excellent video gents
It was an awesome explanation
Well explained..thank u loads
A brief and useful video
Thank you!!
Awesome explanation ..🧡IITB
You guys are great!
You could talk about types of shock wave that is normal, bow and oblique shock wave
This video was great
As someone who used to make Lego videos, I appreciate the stop motion animation :) !
excellent video.
Good video my brother
Really cool video!! Now I get the point when my professor says speed of "information"..
indian guys are always my saviour having my final exams thanks
fantastic .greatly explained the concept .
Awesome video, you guys are smart as in to watch
guys this is so wonderfully explained, its on point wow
and if you guys dont mind could please make a video on oblique shock waves??
Very good explanation.
Great explanation! Will be waiting for more contents like this.
Interesting
I like your chemistry and charisma, guys. And the name, lol. Keep it up!
thank you this is great! Helped a lot
Beautifully explained.
Indians always explain it the best
Very nice explanation provided, thank you very much for making the great video.
Thank God (i.e. TH-cam) for subtitles.
Loved your video

Maybe the density of the air before the object is just right enough to change the velocity of waves.
Shockwaves really are the most damaging part of explosions. That’s what creates the deaths from explosions, really.
This is awesome
very good explanation of shock wave with road traffic analogy
Thank you :-)
thanks!!
you guys gave me Sheldon vibes of BBT
