    I think the mind set is tht it's a hunting bow .....so u are more comfortable with 90 % let-off which is good ....different bows for different venues........ and to add ....always love your videos.... i like the honesty and the fact you think and do the reviews as best as possible.....so clients don't get misinformed .....

    Still a great looking bow in 2022...

    Again, I appreciate your reviews. But also again, to get accurate readings from a chronograph, you need to be sure to shoot the arrow "flat" over the chronograph -- in other words, the path of the arrow needs to be parallel with the body of the chrono.

    Stephen, always enjoy watching your content. I have been watching your shot sequence (tap 1,2,3,4...) i am interested in hearing more about it. I am also interested in hearing a little bit more about "back in the day". I know you have been around the block. I understand that this channel is mostly about the product but your personal brand needs an outlet i think. Cheers.

    I have a question. If you have two bows that are the same for example the Evolve 35, if one is rated 46 to 60 pounds and the other is 56 to 70 pounds, and you set them both at 60 pounds, will they shoot the same speed?

    Thanks for the review. Great review as always. BTW you make a good case for the that bow imo.

    You need to flip your stop around on the 65% module

    Is that draw stop on correct, looks like its on an odd angle..

    Hi Steven, I have a question,I just bought a pse carbon air 35. And after setting it up at 60 lb I realized the let off was about 70 percent..then I checked the modules and I have a high let off mod on the top cam and a low let off on the bottom cam.. factory error , I guess. Will I have tuning issues ...

    Loving your reviews and explinations. Any chance you could do a video on adjusting the cam lean on the evolve? I've just upgraded from a yoke cable system to the ecs. thanks.

    Question to "anyone",.. What is the effect on shooting high poundage, with high letoff?

  • @toadamine
    @toadamine 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I didn't like the 90% setting... Even 80% feels like holding nothing... Gonna try the FL mods...

    • @theamazinggoldfish8713
      @theamazinggoldfish8713 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Did you do it and if so could you let me know your opinion of that module please, thank you.

      @@theamazinggoldfish8713 havent done it... the I hardly shoot that bow, it's a 70# and that's pretty heavy for me, I usually shoot my 60# Mathews which also has "80%" but feels like less layoff than the PSE 70# "80%"... to my arm at least.... the mathews also has a 65% setting on the same cam, tried that, liked the letoff but didnt like the loss of draw length, may look for another cam for that one, they both shoot great at all settings so I dont wanna really mess with them too much...

      @@toadamine I got the NXT 31 and am shooting at 90% letoff. I just got up to my full limbs at 70#'s but am wishing that I got the 33 with 80# limbs instead. Groupings still need work but I like being able to shoot more with the high letoff.

      @@theamazinggoldfish8713 I start chest drawing my 70# after about ten shots... lol I'm 5'9" 150# skinny guy, indont think I could do anything but chest draw an 80#, not without a lot of practice (I admit I'm out of shape lol)

      @@toadamine I just got my bow up to 70# after a long time. Feel I could do more now and I like the faster speed but smooth draw of the Evo.
      Remember "we are archers" we don't have to be in great shape,...just enough lol.

    Is it the LL module or the FL module you put in?

    Would you say 65% feels like a Mathews Max/Minimax cam, where you don't feel anything on the back wall valley wise?

    • @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale
      @ArcherySuppliesLonsdale  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes - it is smooth. But no real feel for a valley. I prefered the 80%. I shot alot better with the 80%. But I think if I worked with the 65% then it would be better like my target bow.

    I really wish you tried it at 75% LL to see if it was a happy medium for you

  • @chrisMc1972
    @chrisMc1972 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think at 60 pound's at 65 let off is perfect for target shooting,75 let off you need 65 to o 70 pounds.

  • @wls200
    @wls200 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Check you math mate. 65% letoff at 100 lbs leaves 35 lbs, not 45. Just sayin.
