I'm having flashbacks, that treble 16 was almost as close as MVG's attempt at double 12 for the 2nd 9 darter. I keep watching it over and over and just hope that somehow it'll go in
These were the first darts I purchased off of Amazon. I'm gripping at the front part of the scallop. I can throw fairly consistent with them but need some time. They are fun to throw but not my match set.
Worldwide, a really nice review for a strange dart. I prefer the straight barreled multi ring darts for my throwing style. I just ordered a set of the new Mission Pheon darts (24 gram); can't wait to throw them. Have a good weekend.
I started playing with these a few weeks ago and they were amazing from the start. I’ve probably put 10 points on my average with these. I was therefore really surprised you struggled. I’m almost shocked!
Ha! No, my dart math is horrendous. I’ve actually started turning off the sound and removing my screen from eyesight while playing soft tip, then forcing myself to manually do the math after every throw. I’m gonna get there! Thanks for the review on these Darts.
As I'm watching this video I'm thinking to myself they would be similar to the Loxley Robins throwing. Boom 5 seconds later there they are next to each other, lol. Hard pass on these, but glad you did a review on them so I know for sure.
Great video but I gotta say those darts are simply not for me. Funny thing is last night I was messing around with one of my more bizarre sets that are loosely similar. I was having massive consistency problems with them. I also agree that there are some sets of darts that just seem to work well all the time. Those types of darts are what we all want to be the best player we can be.
I throw scorpions regularly. Recently started playing in a soft tip league...what dart barrel is closest to the scorpion style. maybe something from Trinidad darts?
Question for you WW: You've called yourself a rear gripper through the years, but I've noticed in the majority of your review videos you end up gripping more in the middle of the barrel. Do you know what it is about the darts you review that don't allow you to grip in the rear?
At a guess I'd say that I grip about 95% of the darts the same. I have the point jammed into my ring finger so my thumb and pointer finger ends up in random spots depending on how long the barrel is. I just took a pic with the Bull's Jan Dekker darts and I'd say my grip is ever so slightly towards the rear. But not all the way back. Looking at the pic again it does seem like I'm in the middle though ... i.imgur.com/DwFYaS9.jpg
Sorry, I don't know what happened there. Because it ran long TH-cam slapped in a couple extra ads. I did NOT do that. But I just went in and manually removed them. I HATE them as well so I totally understand. Thanks for bringing it to my attention
This was my first set of tungsten darts. Happy to see them in a review again. Fun to play with, but hard to get good with.
I find it difficult to improve with almost any tungsten dart. I prefer the old fashioned brass darts from the 70's to be honest.
@@simonlevett4776 big hands? I have the same with skinny darts, hard to get right. 8 mm+ is where it's at 😁
I guess these are OK for me. Any dart that is designed to be held at the rear suits my grip. Thank you for reviewing these fairly rare darts. 👍

How much you pay for the Pheons. They look a nice set of arrows

I throw these as well, great set of darts, i've hit more 140's and 180 than ever!
They are a real unusual design but it didn't stop you scoring well. I doubt I could throw them good enough.

It's easier to score it a whitehorse 😂
I was checking these on Amazon yesterday. I always want to give myself a challenge

My darts throws good for me, but my friend was having troubles aiming with them.
The stems to long, flight to draggy.
Not my choice of darts but if it works for other players, then that's cool.
Great review.
Interesting set 👍

The Red Dragon Marlin model looks similar.
Try the beeneys from loxley or robin hood 2s they are sorta similar in shape i think just smoother
@@camcollins8931 looking for soft tips...I want the beeneys and have both robin I & II...
@@zoltomar4759 i ordered Trinidad Pro Lourenco Sun...waiting to get them in my hands
Can you review the red dragon kryptons or the winmau vanguard tapered barrels please
do you plan on doing a review on the new peter wright double world champ launch?
No, I hadn't planned on it but I'll probably review the Melbourne Master's edition soon though 👍🏻
Where did you get that dart holder in the back?

Those triples add up to a nine-count. 😂
Much easier 😂
Those look seriously messed up 🤣
Wait to you see some of these awful Cuesoul darts they just sent me 😂
