I am glad to hear you have a good homeschooling community! I love that you wrote letters to friends at 14. I am a big letter writer and even though I went to a Christian school growing up, I didn't really have friends, but I had penpals. The socialization thing gets EVERYONE with homeschooling. I find that so many kids that go to schools with a lot of people. . .they get lost and sometimes have a harder time making friends compared to in small homeschooling communities. Wow. . .with the question about not take up drinking. . just don't?? I have never had alcohol ever and homeschooled my oldest child when he was 3-14 before I had a situation that caused me to have to work and put him in public school and it is just. . self control....
I am so happy u made a channel just for homeschool. I was not a subscriber before, because I am only interested in homeschooling content. Thank you for doing this! I love your personality.
Wow!! 🤯 I just found out that WA state (where we live) spends: “Including state, local, and federal resources, Washington school districts receive an average of $18,354 per student.” As of 2024. And:”Public school enrollment peaked in 2018-19, prior to the prolonged school closures. Since then, public school enrollment has declined by 3.2% and has yet to recover. At the same time, there has been a 9.3% increase in private school enrollment and a 37% increase in estimated homeschool students, suggesting that families were not satisfied with the education they were receiving.” We are currently homeschooling 3 children. I am amazed that much is being spent per child and that they still are not doing a satisfactory job. Well that just solidified my confidence so much more! Thank you for this great video!!
We took my son out of public school because it got so bad he passed out at school and they didn't notify me until almost a hour later. He told me in the half year he was home he learned more math then he had in forever at school and we are completely new to this. We are now trying to plan out keeping him homeschooling
Your story is far from the only one I hear like this. So many are still in the dark as to the environment schools have become. I've had reports on four of the schools surrounding us, and it is extremely concerning. You did the right thing. Hopefully I can help point you in the right directions for the help you need here!
