the ending when he pulls it out of his pants had me laughing so hard I woke the house up 😭🤣🤣
This was literally the funniest thing I’ve heard on the podcast so far 😂😂😂
dimitri is not a laughing matter
@@sweetea3272 The fact he was so committed, he had that in his pants as the closer! Chef's Kiss finish!
“…people don’t really know these things, and that’s why it’s important to have me on the show twice, twice a month type of deal…”
Harland is running circles around Joe on every level 😂
No he’s a damn idiot. The JRE is not a comedy experience. It’s an interview about who the person is. The guy was dumb as f
Joe's not a naturally funny guy. It really shows when guests who are are on.

@@harvey2609 spot on observation 👌
This podcast shows how Joe tries to hold up this guy
Harland’s “Facetime O.J. Simpson” bit while Joe was going on about Brian Simpson was hilarious 😂
“Oh wow. It went right to Hertz rent-a-car” Then 5 seconds later “Who’s Brian Simpson?” Followed by loud celery crunch. 😂😂😂
"i killed a pig last year with a rifle"
"Wow what'd the farmer say?"
😭
Had me rolling 😂😂
Harland started off really shakey, I was worried he would keep up the goofy routine when Joe is acting serious and it would all go over his head. He got his rhythm though and turned out OK
"You got any peanut butter"
Long pause.
"How about a cauliflower"
"No. That's not the same thing"
I'm crying.
@@miguelstein8431shakey?!?! You’re crazy. That’s what Harland does and it’s brilliant… he had to find the level because he was running circles around Joe. He still remained a step ahead of him the entire episode, even during the serious parts.
had to pause there and look for the comment..
Joe: I had a staph infection
Harland: How many of your staff got infected?
"Whats the weirdest ailment you've ever had?"
"Staph infection"
"No way, how many people on your staff??"
💀💀💀
That's so funny and quick. Lol
I’m 30 minutes in and Harland is easily top 5 funniest ever guests on the show. Easily. 👏
If you haven’t seen his kill Tony appearances you need to. Incredible

Harland's vibe is sorely needed in these times. Keep it fun and moving forward.
Amen! His goofy ass cracks me up!
So bloody true
💯
I like how Harland keeps saying “unbelieva..blow” every so often and no one catches it! Haha
Yea he started saying it in the beginning talking about that chick on taxi or whatever it was.
Harland is 61 years old! He looks effing fantastic!
Look at the way he eats, lol.
seriously! Happy for him, looking so good.
Not bad given the fact he's been rolled by a griz
Harland’s randomness and commitment to the bit is so antithetical to Joe’s style of podcasting this is absolute gold.
I am 68 years old, l have never heard of Harland, boy have I been missing out. Brings tears to my eyes laughter.
I’m jealous that you get to see everything he’s done for the first time.
You should look up his episodes where he is a guest on the Kill Tony podcast. Even funnier there.
@@qpNiTROqp l most definitely will. Thanks
I could listen to Harland slurp Grape soda and feed Demitri Celery to sleep by on a loop.

Joe "what's your writing process like" rogan
Lil Joey doesn’t know comedy.
After watching Joe fully eat up everything Katt Williams and Terrance Howard believed in, he has set himself up for this... and I'm absolutely here for it. Harland is incredible. 😂
He 100% gets them but is not in the mood you dumbos, it's so clear, he doesn't miss them. He was ready to have a conversation with Harland but he is too silly for Joe's taste
A Theo and Harland podcast will break the internet 😂

A real comedian interacting with someone who "does comedy"
my buddy and i have been friends 22 years and he still doesnt know it's a bit
I think Joe just really wanted to have a serious conversation not another silly podcast. I imagine Joe feels extremely bored having nonsense conversations for hours and really wants to have deep meaningful conversations
Well, maybe not that well right 😆
@@joseph7105 that's a really good point. I see too many people saying that Joe doesn't get the jokes and they go over his head and that is honestly true sometimes...but often he just doesn't find it funny. It's that simple. And Joe absolutely loves deep meaningful and fascinating conversations and learning new information and having his mind blown lol which is my favorite too but Joe is better at that and in those conversations than anything comedy related. That's Joe at his best in my humble opinion.
Norm MacDonald's soul lives on in this man.
Been watching Harland Williams movies since I was in the womb.
I’ve been watching him since I was in my papas sack
6 minute abs.

Are you Terrence Howard?
This is probably the best podcast episode I've ever seen. Harland is pure gold and Joe is oblivious to what's going on, just perfect
The sheer length of time he put into setting up some of those gags...just amazing. lmfao
The man is artist.
This guy is like Norm McDonald. He’s always on. it’s great. and we love you for it Harland 😂😂
Watching harlen realize Joe doesn't understand comedy is hilarious
They've know each other for 30 years. He knows. That's why he's doing bits. He knows that Joe not getting it/getting upset about it is just as funny as any bit he does. He knew how Joe would react to the claw marks, for example.
Go ahead, call me an idiot. I just don’t think this dude is remotely funny. This is type of shtick that made me leave Howard Stern.
Joe: I had a calf injury
Harland: Is your cow okay?

Tom Green passed out drunk on a livestream back during the pandemic, and was asleep for about 2 hrs on stream. At about 1 AM, Harland, who I guess lives nextdoor, saw people talking about it on Twitter while going to bed, got worried about his buddy Tom, grabbed a ladder and flashlight, and scaled the wall into Tom's backyard to go knock on his back door (where Tom's studio is) and check on him, all caught on the livestream. He's a goddamn treasure of a guy.

He slumps his drink that way on his own podcast, too. It's one of his running gags.
This is one of the best JRE podcasts ever. This podcast alone is better than most Comedy Specials! Totally underrated!
You should check out the Harland William podcast with Mark Normand as a guest. It’s so funny.
Harland likes to be silly as much as possible and Mark Normand rolls with the punches really well. Joe is a little stiff
Joe trying to be serious and rooted in reality and Harland just ripping that tapeworm root out of the ground and gnawing on it like a rabid rat eel
@words911 It was a great setup. It's boring if Joe is just calling him out on his bullshit. Joe needs to be the straight man who doesn't see it coming. Harland is so deadpan, and in his element that it works so well off of Joe.
@words911 Harland is doing a bit. Him having a tapeworm. Joe is looking up tapeworms in bears. Looking up how to get rid of it. All of that sets up the end when he pulls it out. Such a great delivery of a bit. That bit would probably bomb 50% of the time, depending on the audience, but on the podcast against Joe being the straight man, it works.
JRE gets more views than any comedy special. How could this particular episode be "underrated" if it just came out?
The movie "Rocket Man" from 1997 was such a huge part of my childhood. Harland Williams will always have a place in my heart. 😊
