Midrange hunter is just too good. So much card synergy combined with card draw, hero damage, spells for removal and pushing more damage, and 2 kill commands as a finisher. Even zuljin there as a last resort.
@@rey783 what do you mean brought it back Hunter midrange has been a strong deck for a while before even Rastakhan came out. Remember Rexxar the most broken hero card ever giving the potential of charge lifesteal minions that kept their base effects? Hunter just has such strong synergy in the class cards.
@@DownwardIsHeavenward cyclone mage is really not that great of a deck if you look at both winrates and just the grandmasters going on. Sure you can get some great rng and win but most of the time you don't and lose to stronger decks because the combos don't pan out. Look at the game Kolento missed damage and still won easily.
@@MainUkraine the best cyclone mage deck had like a 66% winrate last week. the reason mage isn't doing as well in grandmasters this week is because a lot of pros expected a mage meta and countered it with decks like otk paladin.
So this match was recommended for me after 2 years.... And all it did was upset me... I enjoyed that meta so much more and I realised how the production quality decreased ovet the years due to the virus... I hope we'll get back to this level soonish... Both meta and grandmasters vise

The specialist format allows player to bring a main decklist and secondary and tertiary decklists differing from the main list by 5 cards. The players must play the main list on the first game, but can choose whichever on the following ones.
The frost nova in game 2 was just the obvious pick there IMO. Why risk throwing the game if the secret backfires when you're pretty much guaranteed a win on the following turn with the board you've got and nova cripples the opponent's ability to do anything with their board full of frozen minions.
i think pro level hearthstone should ahve a button to extend the turn timer by like 30-45 seconds once or twice per game. it's a bummer to see worse turns and stuff like the missed attacks happen for lack of time

Poor thijs, running that cheap RNG deck. Didn’t learn the last time. After you use both twinspell card you gotta rely on RNG to come up with good spells. Hunter put too much pressure on dat boi
Luck is the biggest factor in winning hearthstone, not critical thinking. I know this because I'm not great at the game and I have beat actual good players because I got lucky or they didnt.
